I just found your channel. And love it. Good info on here. Me and the wife live in Weatherford, Texas for about 2 years now. We left Hawaii to come here because cost of living is much cheaper and more job opportunities. We have been looking at houses and a lot of land. I got a house with very hard well water, it has been a nightmare. It destroys everything. I have heated floors and three hot water heaters. I wish I would have got a new construction build that was half the size. Now I spend all day stressing, trying to fix stuff. I miss renting and callin the maintenance guy. Home ownership is a pain in the rear.

one good long term solution to the roof issue with hail damage is to get a tesla solar roof as their panels have a class 3 hail rating and can withstand hail up to 1.75 inches in diameter. they're really expensive, but if you're thinking long term you wouldn't have to worry too much about hail damage anymore and your electric bill going to zero would kill two birds with one stone.
