I find the MRI extremely relaxing you get a zone where you listen to the grinding of the machine and it goes in a rhythm and if you shut your eyes before you know what you’re out and they pull you out and you’re like oh I’m done already?

Many years ago when Charles started his MRI journey, he said that the sound of the MRI machine was like a Skrillex concert. Ever since then on my cancer journey that started in 2014, I have had to have MRIs and pet scans. The only thing that gets me through that is what Charles shared with the community years ago. Now I view it as a Skrillex concert.

A trick the MRI tech gave me was to put a cloth over your eyes before you go in the tube. That way, you cant see the top of the machine and how close it is to you, even if you open your eyes ! Our machines play music through head phones, does yours?

I used to have MRIs ALL THE TIME as a kid. I HATED IT. I'm claustrophobic AND have issues staying still-- not fun. lol

I'm quite happy that I didn't get that cage put on my head, the only time I've ever been in an MRI. Think that would freak me out for a minute or three too. I did get a short feeling of claustrophobia after a minute or two in the tube, but then the noises it makes got to me. I almost fell asleep in there. For some reason I relax to the muffled sounds of an MRI. Hope everything's fine.

MRI is Magnetic Resonance Imaging not radiation, it is a magnet. CT computerized tomography is radiation

The MRI is much deeper and longer tunnel than the CTscan. That passes you through a narrower machine. 😊😊👋👋❤❤

The weather is crazy in Pittsburgh as well! There has been snow the last couple days. My first MRI, I was a kid and they had those MRI movie goggles and I watched The Princess Diaries. It was strange lol.

I was going to make the De-Nile joke but Charles beat me to it. Thinking about sounding out words, there's one word that I have to look up every time I have to write it out and it is "restaurant". For the life of me I can't memorize its spelling. I know there are A's, E's and a U but the U feels like it should come before the A and there should be a second E somewhere. One day I'll get it but for now I'll just say good job Remi :)

I was so excited when I was told that my insurance would cover an open MRI, but it turns out that I thought it was worse. The fact that I had room to move, but I couldn’t really freaked me out. Well, I don’t know if it was freak out or just utter frustration.

I have brain MRIs all the time and it is not a big deal for me at all , I think you just stay still , close your eyes and that's it .

@@sherylAA now that on the screen year 15 has been a mistake that has never been corrected and it was year 16 at the start of may 1st of last year and over the last few months of allies pregnancy mistakes have been made into slate everything from incorrect dates and year slate was 16 for a time and then back to 15 over the last 4 months ..so technically they are in year 16 but its not shown in the introduction ...As for the decision of them going away its possible because now with 2 kids the income source that KZbin generates is not enough to sustain a family Of multiple kids .. Its almost to point that you will have seek.employment full.time away from the cameras . plus both Charles and allie are around at age 40 bracket he's going on 41 in September and allie turning 38 in march . .. And the both of them are getting old and grey hairs you start to. Lose interest in everyday activities and interests and traditions ..plus many viewers that watch family vlogs may find them repetitive or boring After a while causing them to lose interest in that type of content!!. Plus KZbin now 20 years old in 2025 has made a lot of changes to the rules when it comes to fliming of young children resulting of the comments being turned off unexpectedly on some episodes from.many content creators after fliming them .. And has happened to the trippys as well .. Plus everyday life vlogs on KZbin are becoming A thing of the past because of lack of interest plus everyday stresses can burn you out after a while..plus the years of life getting later and time is about to run out and you want to spend it with each other in private away from cameras and other public eyes at some point .. Thunk about that!!

I never got mris for my anexity i let it pass sorry you felt like it got so bad you needed one I needed one due to dizzy spells and how long it took me to get any medical care for my dizziness I ended up liking my anexity attacks later on they worked more for good then bad

Good evening family!! Already tuesday january 7th and its ukrainian christmas day on their calendars and i believe she is younger version of remi with her facial Features when looking at indie on camera.. Have you or allie tried with Baby sign language to communicate with indie bear .. I remember that Thing that looks like a walker with interactive things.. With music feature That could be very annoying.... Which then followed by remi and alllie playing a video game duel roblux game challenge!! And while you guys are getting rain in florida thats same weather system is bringing SNOWFALL about 1 to 2 inches to eastern pennsylvania and where allies friends shelly and mike live there getting 4 to 5 inches around the philly area..along with artic cold shots .in bucks county where i am about 1 inch fell on the ground and where getting another snowstorm on saturday. I remember those machine from the outside of the hospital And that one your talking about doesnt have raditation .. But the reason you wear ear protection is to blackout the noises coming out of it ..and normally you would sleep through it with your eyes closed.. During the testing operations.. I remenber years ago i had an eeg and ct scan of my brain after an eye checkup with a technication detected a problem .. Of eye moments being slow.. And during those tests i had to go to sleep through it.. And they would shine a strobe light to see how my brain woiuld react....and earlier date i had ekg tests at the doctors Due to anxiety and hypertension issues .. In which im on meds for it .. And i remember those tests and procedures can be nerveracking and If you have fear of enclosed places or enclosures or even dark rooms And it that could a worse nightmare for sure..and send your heartbeat racing for sure..in a panic attack.. .think about that!!
