Thanks so very, very much. I was there on September 11th. My son was going to school there and so we lived there till he finished high school. It was one of the worst days of my life plus we were trapped trying to get off the island to get back to NJ. The sites, smells and noises still haunt me to this day. The acrid odor. The continuous sirens from every crisis department. It never stopped till evening and then slowed down. The stunned people in shock walking and running like zombies. I was a nurse & had stood up a water station to drink or rinse their eyes out. . Most didn’t know who they were or where they we’re going. The next day were the thousands of people crowding around asking constantly if we’d seen their loved ones. The song you sang was so poignant that I listened twice and cried through it twice. If you wrote that , you are so very talented. Thanks for doing that and God bless you for remembering the way it was. 👍🏻💔💔🌹🌹😢😢😪😪

Thank you for updating this again. It’s so painful to listen to, because it brings me back to being there that day. I was never the same after that fateful day. I escaped but still have occasional nightmares. But your song brings me to tears which is very cathartic since I always try not to cry on Anniversaries because I’m afraid I won’t stop. But after hearing the heart & soul you put into it, I have to thank you once again from the bottom of my heart. 21 yrs this yr and when you put it out last yr, I thought, here’s a young man all the way from Germany who cared enough to write a song about a horrific day that many Americans don’t mention anymore. So bless you for your song, your kindness & your thoughtfulness. Every year now while I’m here in NYC for its memorial, I’ll play your song. I love the guitar at the end. God bless John. 🙏🏼❤️😪

Beautiful song John. Twin Towers, Pentagon, Field in PA( which they think was headed to the Capital or the White House. I was afew miles from the Pentagon when the earth shook n traffic stopped. My cousin was near the field in PA n could see the smoke. (the plane 93 ) was filled willed with heros that saved many lives on the ground that day. We will never forget this day. USA is strong.

As I remember, that time on 9/11/2001, I feel the tears, to this day when you remind me of that unforgettable terrorists attack on the Trade Center. Thank you, John. 4 hours away, in Massachusetts. A neighbor called me from work, her employment, they were watching these aircrafts going thru the building. I saw the second one, and tragedy of the people running, and those trying to get out of the buildings. People jumping out of the windows. And all the people trying to help save lives. Unforgettable!! We have to pray for the survivors, families of lost ones. How can anyone close to New York City, ever forget! I pray that America, the United States never gets that comfortable, not expect the unexpected. This was a jihad, holy war. Their religious war. I pray for all armed forces of the United States. As my father served for over twenty one years. As I said expect the unexpected! All those that survived. All the workers that were on the front line and eons of volunteers on the front line, people who survived with all kinds of injuries, everyone involved. God Bless

Thank you John from a proud American! I was 37 when this happened and I will never ever forget where I was when this happened! My children were in school-classes stopped immediately and the TV's in the classrooms were turned on as our children witnessed history. What were we to say to them? How do you explain terrorism to a child (most of my 6 kids were teenagers then). It was horror beyond belief. There is a video out there I recently discovered called "BOATLIFT - an untold tale of 9/11 resilience" narrated by Tom Hanks. I'm not suggesting a reaction video but rather as a great story from a horrific day that you may enjoy watching. It's a 12 minute video. Thanks again John for your beautiful song!

Nice song. Just remembering that attack. It was terrible and afterwards I have been thinking I became sick and lost my memory for few years because what happened. Big screens in shoppingcenters showed whole happening alive. First I couldn't belive it is true... Several times afterwards I have been thinking how people got over it.
