This still brings a tear to my eye and creates a knot in my throat. Hundreds of miles away I sat in front of my TV on that day in udder shock and disbelief watching clip after clip of the devastation these monsters caused. Even days later we still didnt have answers and honestly I dont think my biggest question will ever be answered. How could people be so heartless as to target innocent people for their agenda? I'm not a religious person but I think people who are ok with killing and hurting thousands of people like this are truly evil and if there is a hell I hope that they are suffering for the rest of eternity. The only good thing that came out of that mess was that, for a time, we were all Patriots. We united as one people, as Americans. I wish we would go back to the sense of pride in our country because it seems like we need it now more than ever.

I remember being in the 10th grade and my teacher crying saying it would be my generation who goes to war. Iv now deployed 9 times, retire in 8 months, but not without being sent on one last deployment. :(
