A very middle to upper middle class perspective. When two people are earning and there is no personal time - processed food is a blessing . Labour class use biscuits as tea thickener and for them it is a Nastha . A pack of biscuit is only 5 Rs and provide 400 calories . These uppies get carried by western logic and never bother to research our status and needs

Thanks to my father, who right through my childhood always made sure that, he skips all the ads that appear on tv and changes the channel or keeps the tv off! And every time he says, that Ads are always made to exploit us. And, adds that, if you learn economics in life, you'll know it better. I didn't learn economics, but thanks to his restrictions on Ads, Movies we never bought things just because they were shown on tv. Neither did we spend money for theatres. Rather, he made sure, we ate good nutritious foods.
