Roy, was pretty selfish and it was pretty clear to everyone in the office that there was little romance. Almost everyone already assumed that Pam and Jim were having a relationship well before Jim made his move.

I remember being 8 years old when this episode aired and I was watching it beside my dad, when michael turned and said to jim "never, ever, ever give up" and my dad looked at me and just smiled and now, fast forward 12 years later, graduating college, my dad brought out a sign for the party and it had Michaels face on it with "never, ever, ever, give up" quoted across it. thank you michael.

I really liked the Murder episode, where Jim thought Michael was slacking, and playing murder mystery games to avoid doing work. But it turns out Michael knew exactly what he was doing, distracting the staff from thinking about the pending bankruptcy of the company. The moment where Michael gets angry, and Jim finally agrees that Michael is right, is awesome.

That was a great episode, as was the one after Michael and Pam quit Dunder Mifflin, and Michael set up the Michael Scott Paper Company. Pam was initially the cheerleader when Mike despaired, but the roles were reversed a day later when Pam gave up hope of the company succeeding. Michael's pep talk to Pam as she sat dejectedly in his car was touching and inspiring. What a series.

Through out the entire show, everytime it was absolutely oppertune, Michael would dish out some perfectly crucial wisdom. Even though he's often portrayed as an ignorant buffoon, this is just for comedic effect because it's a comedy tv show.
