Wow, Tyler, all those reuseable plants. You always say you're still learning about the plants you find in gardens so I thought I'd let you know about those pink pig face. They are super drought tolerant and will grow from cutting s if you allow them to sprout roots in water first. In full sun they are an explosion of colour! Next time you find them, take some cuttings! Great ground cover and they also spill over walls etc. I hope you find that helpful sometime in the future! I loved this video, can't wait for the next part! 🤗👍🏻🌻

Over here in California we call them "ice plant". I'd never heard them called "pig face" before! You are so right about their being drought tolerant ... and make great ground cover if you can keep them corralled in a garden bed. The only thing they don't do so well with is frost. They'll tolerate a little ... but a bit too much and they are toast!

Thanks again, Tyler, for another wonderful yard transformation ... and especially for helping the woman with cancer out. As a cancer survivor myself (not a bad case, I am fully recovered, but still had to do radiation treatments), I can testify that the treatments take over your whole life for the duration. Really, it's hard to think of anything else, much less lawn care. You do such an amazing job on garden beds. In fact, I literally cringe nowadays when I see someone taking a whipper snipper to a garden bed and then walking away from it, leaving all the stubble behind!
