This was the last album in which they weren’t much involved in making! After Take Me Home, Louis made them fire the main songwriter cause all of them felt their music and image wasn’t going where they wanted to and that’s why there’s a HUGE change in 1D pre Midnight Memories to the one during and after that album. Just a cool fact, Louis wrote 12 of the 18 songs in MM :)

yes. like the reason their music in the first two albums are so different and what a lot of people describe as not them is because its not. idk I just feel like that needs to be taken inconsideration when listening to the albums. like don't get me wrong I love the albums because it was my childhood I just think their other albums were more them xx

I wish you had listened to Last First Kiss, Back For You, or Summer Love. I really love those songs. I feel like Rock Me was kind of their first step into the more rock sound that they carried on in their next three albums. Great reaction! I always enjoy you listening to something 1D related.

1d was really stricted by their management but their concerts are not scripted. So yeah, they really go Mariah Carey randomly(esp. Liam and Zayn, Zayn with his falsettos and Liam with his random harmonies eith complex runs). I donvt think you can truly appreciate their musical side without watching their concerts.

Zayn’s highnotes in the live performances are always structured there always in the studio version. The concerts were structured but in terms of seriousness not at all. Liam and Louis had water fights with massive amounts of water bottles every show. Liam ran around in costumes on stage. Harry basically performed a strip tease at the last tour. Niall and Louis were like children “fighting” in stage... Also I wished you listened to *They don’t know about us* from that album because that was one of their best songs from the early days

u actually get it, their management sucked! and didn't let them do what really they wanted so yeah, it doesn't mean their music is bad (i'm a fan and i still listen to them till this day) but they didn't have that much of control :(

Harry grew up with old school 60's and 70's music (as did I a bit) so he's kinda emulating the looks, and now even the music he makes reminds me of those times. He's been compared to Mick Jagger all his life even haha. But yeah I like your videos a lot. My dad did some sound and audio tech too back in the day and I used to mess around with audio too when I was a bit younger, although I didn't continue doing it so I am in no way good at it. Keep making videos.
