Love the style! However, the throttle is a bit too sensitive for my liking. Unfortunately, even after an ECU flash, the problem persists to the point where I'm thinking of selling it. Still, it's undoubtedly one of the most beautiful bikes out there! @kentuckyyankee

Good job! Wasn't expecting a camping trip, looked like fun, except for the brake. Totally agree with you regarding breakdowns on the road. They are no fun at all! I would much rather fix stuff at home with no rush and all my tools / spares.

After sitting in a open-to-elements garage 1995 through 2013, my brother-in-law got my '85 5-spd dual carb, full-of-holes exhaust, Lude running well-enough, so I replaced 2 tires (put'em on the front), and with the rear two (& a spare) on shit tires, I drove from Fort Wayne, IN to Terre Haute for a business deal. Started running a little rough, sometimes hard to start. Would stall at every stop sign, so foot always on the accel pedal. Made it to Oklahoma, where my wife flew in, and joined me for the remainder of the drive down to Phoenix. Ran lean the whole trip, documenting 30+ mpg lol ... made it the 1800 miles. Ended up parting it out in Phoenix, and crushing the frame (rusty bendy). Still have a couple boxes of parts!

I had previously explored California (from Fort Wayne) in an '85 Accord base w/ 220k mi (no issues), and then the SouthWest in an '87 Prelude Si w/ 200k mi, camping all over and exploring neat geological features. This time (in '13) it was a whimsical hope that I could keep the low-mileage '85 forever, but I simply did not take the time to take care of the carbs. Gave up 😞 Anyways, thanks for sharing your great story! I was with you in spirit!

had the same issue with the master on my 320 when I cobbled a set up together. had my front brakes SMOKING! went with a completely different set up to remedy my issue since the pedal was way to far up and didn't have enough adjustment to get it down far enough. im assuming those are original parts for that car so im sure a little fiddling and you'll get it squared away!

Yeah. I'm not sure why these parts aren't right. Possibly, there is an adjustment inside the booster? I need to get back in there. The 320 is a beast! I'm starting back up on the 520 today.

There is a Value on the trans (speedo)that makes the power steering tighter on the highway and looser at lower speeds

Thanks! I noticed the hoses on the trans. I'll have to look into how it works. The steering has been fine ever since it fixed itself. 😂

I was driving to Florida for vacation and my water pump froze up and melted the drive belts off. Stuck on the side of the interstate. Louisiana. July. 90 + degrees. Thunderstorm. Got towed- left it at the shop to get fixed - shop gave me a loaner. Was back on the road 4 hours later.

ahh heck yea, road trip that beast, this should be good - just use the e brake to stop. Ahh, power steering is over-rated. Does everyone know you get free charcoal? Next time, strap the qt50 with upgraded exhaust on the back and rip it around the campground. Good lord, how many pumps are there?
