0:32 I appreciate the kids putting on a show with their colorful umbrellas! 5:16 I love how the mist makes the trees appear in silhouette. That view would make a nice painting. 7:21 It's one thing to be careless about your own life, but don't involve your dog in your foolishness!! 15:45 On a clear day, the view from the Hesperia cam is picture postcard-worthy. 17:00 That's what you get for trying to rush ahead of other cars.

At 7:59, the rain foot is actually a microburst. A microburst is a localized column of sinking air (downdraft) within a thunderstorm and is usually less than or equal to 2.5 miles in diameter. Microbursts can cause extensive damage at the surface, and in some instances, can be life-threatening.

In addition to trains, it’s also great to see all of the other modes of transportation in these videos, like the barges on the Mississippi at 4:51 or the hot air balloon in Strasburg at 5:16. I can’t wait for the next shot of a Cape Canaveral launch from the Cocoa FL webcam, an airplane, or some vintage automobile crossing the tracks in some future grab bag.

Tri-Rail already parted it out before they sold it to BUGX, and its condition was essentially dead even before that, as the reason it was retired in the first place was because it had a catastrophic mechanical failure that was far too expensive to fix. There's nothing else to do with it besides scrapping it.

New to train watching, trying to figure out how to differentiate trains. I got a nice overview of a local yard, I keep reading about specific trains with particularly routes, like for instance, I'll see something mention the Q036 heading to Chicago(made up example.) How would one determine which train that is in the yard(can see from a top down perspective and from a fence at a gas station? Also is there a particular way to to identify where a train is heading from the public sector? I know there are phone numbers you could call as a customer/railroad police/etc...but i mean juat as a member of the public. Finally are there any rail fans discord servers? I have way more question in general.
