For real, wait the little bit if you see the people at the pump are finishing up, but if they are still mid pumping you're wasting everybody's time by not driving through and utilizing the pump that's empty. Some people have big tanks and others take their sweet old time pumping and then leaving, and you could be at the pump and nearly finished by the time those people are done. It's less efficient by wasting the time waiting for the people at the pumps to finish and leaving a pump that isn't being used empty for that period of time.

I might have OCD or something but in my two vehicles, I have a '97 Ram 1500 and a '99 Nissan Quest and I don't let them get under a half a tank of gas. I did put a fuel pump in the truck almost 11 years ago when I first got it and it's still going so far. If you run the gas tank too low all the time you will burn up the fuel pump. Plus it bugs me if the gas hand gets too low, not sure if that's the best thing but I've put 110,000 miles on my truck so far myself and it has 302,850 miles on it all together, 360 V8 so it's always thirsty.

@francisphillipeck427226 күн бұрын
You dont have to do that anymore. The reason tanks rusted was because pure gasoline doesn't absorb water so the water would sit on the bottom of the tank and rust it, modern fuels have ethanol added which absorbs water so it mixes into the ethanol and gets burnt by the engine so it doesnt cause problems like rust or sediment in the tank anymore. And every new vehicle has a sump in the bottom of the tank that holds an extra .93 gallons so in my car when the gauge gets to 0 I still have like 30 miles before im stuck on the side of the road. You get premium for regular prices at kroger if you shop there and get some points, the local one has a liquor store inside too so liquor gives you kroger points so they are stupid easy to get for cheap fuel.
