Hey man. I appreciate the vid! But, I have a question - is ranged warden viable *at all*? I really hate playing melee. I don't like to get blood on me ;) Do you have any ranged warden builds at all?

I do have a ranged Warden build, it just under performs by a substantial margin.

If you are going hunter instead of warden, wouldn't you stay Str and Dex instead of Int since you arent using magical attacks?

Is it fine to used Aimed shot for bosses? Cuz I typically use Aimed shot a lot whenever the mobs have a higher hp then just switch over to rapid shot if they're low.

if you do the math, the damage over time even in this scenario is much lower on aimed shot. you are better off with rapid shot

Basically the same as all the other Pure DPS classes. Solo play: Augment Summoned, 6 slots: Crit sev or power gain; offense 1: Deep crow; defense: pick any to fill stats or power; offense 2: hunting hawk; offense 3: Power companion; utility: Alpha Compy, baby owlbear, energon, or campaign currency bonus companion Boss/ Party play: Augment Summoned, 6 slots: Crit sev or power gain; offense 1: Deep crow; defense: pick any to fill stats or power; offense 2: batiri (boss), hunting hawk (AOE); offense 3: Tamed Raptor, or Power companion; utility: Alpha Compy, baby owlbear, energon, or Zentarium warlock

@@LordWillow i d suggest for the trapper build to slot the panther more % dmg on blocked enemys ( basically always up )it really put real nostalgia but guess what on solo content is the best fun i ever had i m really enjoying the trapper doing siege farm on avernus ahaha =)

@alessandro sarati there are only two paragon paths for ranger in the game now. Hunter and Warden. Trapper was removed.

In my testing vorpal for single target and lightning for aoe. And I will say the poisened journal

If you can, go Dragon Born. Otherwise, it's such a small difference it doesn't really matter that much.

Willow, why drop Commanding Strike at the end for single target hunter? Shouldn’t the rotation be Disruptive shot > Wyvern > Commanding > Long Strider > Constricting arrow and then take the top feet instead? Commanding shot also increases damage done so shouldn’t it be used at the start of rotation?

I find more value in the reduced cooldowns to be honest... I find with the reduced cooldowns that I'm ready to start popping off my other encounters (and disruptive mixed in)

Hopefully those people tha play ranged in randoms will do more damage with the changes cos they tilt my head every time.

most (not all) people running ranged builds in randoms are doing so because they don't know better, and therefore probably have the wrong everything... Not sure the changes will help them at all

I play my dwarf hr as ranged most of the time but every item i have, especially rings, give bonus damage for ranged attacks. That makes a lot of difference in the end result.

For the love of everything holy, Trappers, PLEASE stop using CoA/PG, it’s trash and screws up the rotation because of the huge cool down. Use RoA/RoS for mobs and LSS/GW for bosses.

rain of arrows( to small AOE ) and swords( to low dmg ) are also garbage i agree about LSS/GW btw if u time PG ( i have a 180k ranger and i can pull out some nice dmg with it ) it dosent screw the rotation and i m having so much fun using it on avernus siege i wish they put roots damage on top again so tired of using full melee why they lock a 6 skill class to 3 ? think about that ( it has to off course be played just for solo content and having fun )
