Indeed - most of the gear for dps will be very very similar... although ranged classes will not use the heels of fury but instead they use the enduring boots I guess (and a different shirt)

What attributes do you use for range warden I currently use dex and int going off another build but my powers seems somewhat weak

DEX and INT are slightly better for boss fights. STR + DEX is not far behind it to be honest - but for trash STR + DEX is better than INT + DEX. Since this build is for Avernus/IC, that means I'll prefer STR + DEX in this case.

I have a question, what is the difference between melee powers and at will powers, o am a 26.3 fighter and there are two intermountain rings, one increases melee powers and one at will powers

Melee are all power without range... this can be atwills encounter and dailies... At-will are all green powers which also can be ranged

What about attribute points? I’ve heard either Dex and Str or Dex and Charisma. Also heard something about Dex/Intelligence.

For the Ranger INT/DEX is best for prolonged fights (e.g. ToMM). STR/DEX is better for short burst fights.

Love your vids :) is critical avoid , awerness and deflect not that important. i have 80-85 k in every stats and 131 in combat ad , but my power is only 151 k if those other 3 stats isnt important, then i will change some rings or companion gear for offensive slots, so i can have more power for my Rogue ???

I don't have Ebony Stained Hide but I do have Stealer ofthe Star's. Same bonus but you need to do 15% of your Hit Points instead of 10%. Is this viable? Would you consistantly be doing 15%?

That armor only stacks 5 times sadly... so it's not as good :-)

@@RainerNW Damn. I have probably deleted at least five of the Ebony Stained Hide. The The bonus originally said Butcher's Guard so I assumed it was supposed to give Defense not Power. Turns out the Butcher's Guard part of the tooltip was a typo not the 1% Power part.

Up to now I have been using the Shadow Demon in my Ultility. In the latest patch notes (console) it says "Shadow Demon now functions as stated in the tooltip." but no one is talking about what that means. Does it mean that the Deflect causing almostno damagenow has a 30 second cooldown? I used to see multiple low numbers like 1 or 5 or 7 within a couple of seconds but I don't think I'm seeing that anymore.

afaik tit for tat does not stack and I have it on a ring. For the ring, I dont have a better option either. Getting a power boost on the arms slot does more than getting an extra 3% at-will damage buff or something from the second ring

I play other classes, but not on the same level... They don't even have all boon points unlocked for example :-/ I do want to get them up to speed though... trying to at least keep them in line for the new campaigns

Would have liked to have seen a build you had before you went in ToMM for the first time as the ring gives tons of crit you cannot find unless it’s on companion gear which then changes the 3 you described.

Before running ToMM I ran with ebonized rings and burnished set. Had all offensive stats (and defense) capped except CA. Can look if I can remake that build (or whether I have it still saved somewhere)

Thank you so much for posting this. I've been hearing over and over that the "+5% damage in Undermountain" helmet perk does not work in TOMM. How did you determine that it does apply there?

The bonus shows up in the buff bar - which means it is active

wasnt 'focused retaliation' nerfed (and dmg capped)? regarding sharpedge (in the commentary section for his wizards - mod 17 doc: guides.jannenw.info/2019/07/13/wizard-mechanics-guide-module-17/) ... Sharp: "Initially, Focused Retaliation had no cap on the damage it dealt. As a result of that it dealt up to 15% of your damage in ToMM. However they changed that later down the road and so now Bloodlust is BiS.". this was for wizards but might also be true for rangers?

If you have a lot of power, the power stacking works best. Also yhe bonus from kiuno is also on other gear items (rings), while the power stacking is not. And the 3% bonus only stacks twice. So yes, endgame the ebony stained hide is better.

I feel like I had a brainfart now... that defense runestone might actually free up some boon points/my defense companion slot In the defense comp slot I would put incoming healing + HP (I think its the stone).. I'll look into that! Thanks :-)

@@RainerNW You're welcome :) If I remember correctly Red Dragon Ioun Stone has incoming healing + HP combo. It'll be a great change if you can afford to lose 4000 defense from Man at Arms.

I would love to make class videos for other classes - but my other class toons are simply lacking .... Never really put effort to build them up properly. As for DPS - most likely the only changes you will need to make are the rings and comp gear to accomodate for that (e.g. wizards will want the ranged ring instead of the melee one and then more crit on comp gear). Will see what I can do in the future... I might build up some of my other toons a bit - but its a lot of work :D they dont even have all boon points lol

Love how the players are saying oh it's easy to get this stuff and get these stats.. well yes the gear is easy to get what is not easy to get is the enchants...sorry folks.. wanna know why they can use sub par last decade gear? Cause the gear doesn't play as big of a role as the runestones and enchants...and getting max runestones and enchants is very expensive...So if you are newer player.. by that I mean anyone who has not played for over a year... you are screwed into not being able to play ToMM.. and good luck getting into LoMM unless you get into a guild that is not full of elitist pricks who say they don't judge on IL but in secret they do...

Enchantments are only needed for extra hp/power. By far the most stats come from comp gear (free) and bondings (upgrade these first!)
