Take your time man, the more you wait and save that bag the better off you can afford a later model of that AT4X before the 2025 redesign or like you said take your shot at the lower trim (at4 or Denali non ultimate) model. As for me I'll take the Elevation from GMC or the rst z71 Silverado from Chevrolet (only ext cab and 5.3l engine for me no need for an expensive 91 octane fuelled 6.2l v8 cause them 5.3s can STILL haul the wood and bacon😁)

Personally the only thing I will miss by not getting the X is the multimatics and lockers. If I can option the regular at4 with massaging seats I will do it and hopefully can also still get the 20” wheels.

I have a regular AT4 (not X) true 2022 coming with the diesel. Upgraded to the 20" and definitely get the "safety" package. Its only like $1000 and is a great upgrade

I went with a Silverado RST '22 limited with the diesel over the refresh where the diesel is not going to be available. The fuel milage is more important than tech to me.

I have a maxed out 2021 at4 and love everything about it. If I could get those at4x seats that would be awesome but have no interest in the new tech design. Love my column shifter and the open design of the 2021 with minimal clutter and tons of storage. No need to tech my myself into not looking at the road to navigate the inside of my truck.

Awesome video! I have reserved the 2022 refreshed at4. Can you do a video comparing the 2022 refreshed at4 vs the 2022 at4x. I want to make sure I’m choosing the right one, I’m on the fence if I want to spend the extra 15k for the at4x. I know for sure I want the refreshed model, I just don’t know if it’s worth that much more money.

I’m waiting for an at4x to come in. I was quoted about 3-5 months! And the dealership I went to was only getting 4 of them and 2 were already reserved. $68k was the price so far that they told me

The refreshed truck has the option of the 13.2 inch screen. You don’t need the X to get that or the center console shifter.

Good morning! Been checking out the videos on the refreshed 2022 Sierras and Silverados. I understand that there are headlight animations on both models that seem to be spurred by the electric vehicles being released of late. I can’t find anything on them. Do you happen to have anything on them, or perhaps have seen these features yet?

The at4x also has five leaf springs and the exhaust is relocated on the rear bumper so when I off tossing it doesn’t get damaged

I wish the refreshed model was keeping column shifter. I could be happy with a 2022 limited. I read on GM Authority the refreshed Silverado is going to have a regular cab short bed only on the work truck, I wonder if The Sierra Pro will offer it too. I'll look forward to a video about that.

I want to know if there will be a 2022 refresh AT4 without getting the AT4X? If so will the 2022 refresh AT4 have the new interior and will you still have the option of getting the 3.0 diesel? I just want the refresh AT4 not the X has there been any release of what it will look like snd interior options?

Yes the standard AT4 will still be an option. And unless, they decide to change last second, or the 3.0l develops another problem, the 3.0l will be the standard selection for the AT4.

@@maxpolk9069 There seems to be a hiccup with some 3.0's. There having intermittent no crank/start problems. IF it occurs they have a high percentage of being related to the camshaft position sensor exciter wheel. It's warped or bent in which case requires replacing. Outside of that issue, these engines are stout!

The same tech, i.e HUD, 13.4in screen, digital driver screen, heated and cooled seats. Essentially damn near everything but the multimatic shocks, lockers, and special AT4X color trim. That's why so many have said GMC has lost their minds in charging so much for the AT4X.

Appreciate the video. Based on your comments earlier, an AT4 can be optioned with the fancy seats and tech. I'd like one more configuration, front e-locker with a G80 in the rear. I really like the piece of mind knowing BOTH rear tires are going to work together when I need to move promptly. Can you tell us, will the AT4X rear axle be an open diff when it's not locked, or will it incorporate a limited slip feature so that it won't suffer from one wheel peel.

From what I've found/seen that special gray stitching appears to be for the "X" only. I believe the standard AT4 may still be the khalahari. I know for a fact those 16 way massaging seats are offered for the X and Denali. Question and verdict remains aa to whether or not one can choose to upgrade to those seats...

I just picked up my 22 AT4 Limited 6.2L for a grocery run, baby hauler (apparently my 2018 Corvette Grand Sport is frowned upon for baby transport). I've got my reservation in for the AT4X, but I might not order it. The 22 Limited is excellent, and tech isn't really a selling point for me (even though I'm 34). I prefer my tech to be on my gaming PC haha.

AT4X has a dual exhaust but you cant see it. Its tucked up underneath the body. So if you like the look of the dual exhaust the AT4X doesn't have it.

I sure am glad I got my 2021 Sierra this year. I love my column shifter and the lower price. All that new tech just means more things that will break and it will be easier to hack. Do you really think a GM Service tech will be able to fix Google issues? Something tells me no. Also for you mid-life to older guys, are you going to be able to read all those screens without your glasses, because you know the font is going to be smaller too ... GOOD LUCK ... I'm a DIEHARD GM guy.... That said..GM should be embarrassed by the TRX. I was in one. It's insanely beautiful inside. The suspension is light years ahead of what the AT4X/ZR2 will have. It's stupid fast. And the AT4X/ZR2 Looks like it's gonna be the same price basically???? WTF is GM thinking? It's basically a trailboss with different shocks and a better interior?? Makes no since. Now before everybody says well everybody doesn't need a TRX.. I understand that. But GM went out to build this amazing off-road truck kept the same transmission. And the exact same engine they've had for like 15 years and just put better shocks on a stock suspension pathetic. The thing is.. GM has the parts to do a TRX type truck?? Yhe 755hp ZR1 motor. With the 8-speed yada yada yada I don't get it..

I have a fully loaded GMC AT-4 2021 and so many problems with electronic radar couple times didn’t crash 💥:( GPS don’t work :( SD Card not reading:( Cruise control sometimes not working temporarily disengaged :( Auto highbeams keep blinding people when there’s no car turns off when there’s a car turns on :( Cameras sometimes it’s gray sometimes is blue sometimes don’t work :( Parking sensors :( Auto CarPlay not reading 80% Charging ports not charging :( Anything it’s electronic piece of crap shame on GM :( Chest imagine to drive itself it’s gonna kill everybody :(
