I'm also tempted to trade in my Model 3 when this comes out. It'll be the fastest charging EV out when it arrives. They tested the prototype 0-100% charging and it finished in 47 minutes. By comparison, the Model S Plaid finished it in 70 mins, Model 3 in 66 minutes, and Model Y in also 70 mins. No more range anxiety when you can charge from 0-50% in 11 minutes or 0-80% in 24 minutes.

Thanks for watching the video. Wow~ I didn't know how long it takes for all those Tesla models to charge. You're right. If it takes just a few mins to charge your vehicle, then, as you said, there should be MUCH less range anxiety! Thanks for sharing all that info!

I feel exactly the same way as you. I'm also considering this car - but it would be my first EV. The quick charging times are the key criteria - they're barely enough for a quick bio pit stop!

Thanks for a super enthusiastic review of the EV6. I’ve being trying to find out whether the AWD option was switchable to just rear RWD and yours is the only review which has mentioned the characteristics of the power distribution of the various Drive Modes. Thank you. Also thank you for the detail about the exterior lights sequences on initialisation (Welcoming ceremony) - again I’ve not seen this mentioned in any other reviews. Thank you and well done.

I just ordered an EV6. I originally ordered a Tesla but cancelled it after they kept stringing me along on the delivery date. The fit and finish of the EV6 is so much better than Tesla. I also like the Apple Car play which Tesla doesn’t have. They don’t have passenger lumbar either. The South Koreans are very resourceful and have turned Kia and Hyundai into very good cars.

I like the overall look & power, but I am somewhat disappointed with the max.range 400km in ideal situation sounds good on paper, here in Canada that range will be closer to 260km due to our cold winter months. In my opinion EV vehicles remain fantastic 'city' vehicles, but anyone travelling regularly and having to wait +30min for a full charge is not convenient.
@xKevmachinex

@@xKevmachinex They work, but there is still a major impact on battery range from the cold weather...depending on EV(and how cold it is) anywhere from 20 to 50% reduced range. So 400km range, -30c and you get 200km of real life usage.

Thanks for watching the video. You can select a Sunroof as an option, but I heard that people with height over 5'11" may experiece their hair brushed to the roof since it gets a bit more lowered in height. Hands-free rear hatch? I am not so sure what you meant by this, can you explain it a bit more in detail pls? EV6 has OTA updates as well as OHD. The map also shows nearby charging stations(at least it does in South Korea theorefore I am positive it does in other countries too)

Thanks for watching the video. Wow... it's a tough question because they are both great cars. If money isn't a issue, then I would go for the EV6(of course this is a personal taste and choice) because I personally think it is optimized for people in Korea. V2L is one feature I really liked because you can literally use any home appliances even in the car. Many people in South Korea buy SUVs so they can go camping. As you know, this whole COVID19 stopped every one from going abroad so that they found an alternative solution, camping. As I mentioned on the video, as long as Hyundai and Kia build many charging Stations through out the country, I think it is a really attractive car.

realistically, how much additional range do you get with regenerative braking?
@cartiglobal
@cartiglobal 3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching the video. To answer your question, I believe it really depends on how you drive your car and how you like your car to be driven by you. For me, it was fun watching the driving range going up on the cluster with Regenerative Braking. Even without the regenerative braking, it's still a fun car. ( I felt as if I were playing with a big electric toy car lol) . Since not too many infrastructure built, I believe the regenerative braking is more effective in driving long distances. Korea is a small country and it will be very different from driving in the States, Canada or other big countries. Extra 10~20 miles won't make a huge difference, but it does in Korea :)

Not 4 wheel drive, it is AWD:) there is a difference. NIce to see your review, be nice to see the RWD version as well. Apparently most of the cool features like handles on approach release is top model. I find the other colors are a better option for this vehicle and this particular color for interior to me is an ugly match. The more reviews I see of the EV6 the more I like the Ioniq 5 even though I have a pre order deposit on each. I like the design of both wheel options on the Ioniq 5 better as well as dash layout. I am hoping as you said I can drive both before purchasing but I see myself going Ioniq 5 and will be charging at home mostly, Ioniq 5 looks more "out of a video game" Good job Cart Global and have a super day!

The vehicle I was test driving had a little problem on tire pressure. I think that's what you are referring to. It was taken care of at Hyundai after the test drive :)

Kia should have put physical dividers of some sort between the electronic touch controls on the dash. Although I guess it's easier to swipe clean the area way it is currently. A "thumb ledge", for hand stability, might be a good compromise. Also, Kia, get rid of that gloss black, it gets too filthy and cheapens the look. Otherwise it seems like a nice vehicle.

Who knows what those engineers and designers think when they manufacture vehicles. They are not top notch, but not so bad either. I value quality of engines and trannies more than anything(in this case, Electric motor and batter). As long as they are stable and good in qualities, I think I can live with as it is. Of course, tastes in cars are different from people to people, but I am only sharing my personal tastes and opinion. :)

Thank you for watching the video. I don't know much about F150, but my suggestion for you is to test-drive before making a decision. I had so much fun and it is a very practical electric vehicle, but it doesn't mean it matches your taste( but I am sure it does lol). Test drive this toy and have some fun! :)

Thanks for watching the video. That would be nice. Before Kia does any upgrades on the vehicle, I wish they do quality check in the assembly line and manufacturing process. There was some issue on the batteries not bolted on tight enough on one of the KIA vehicles. IMO, If they truly want to compete and be out there, it's best for them to make safe and reliable cars first!

But how much carbon was produced making the car? 🧐. That’s the downside to electric for right now. They produce way more carbon in production vs a gas powered car. Just saying. It’s not truly carbon free.
@cartiglobal
@cartiglobal 3 жыл бұрын
Thank you for watching the video! ABSOLUTELY! I guess we cannot call all these EV vehicles carbon free cars or environmentally friendly car at least during the production. It would be so much better if they can cut down all these pollution and carbon emission during the manufacture process, then we can really call them CLEAN VEHICLES :)

Its Tyres are terrible for the environment.. pollutes the environment and power stations that supply its power also pollute.. wat u trying to push.. its usless compared to an ICE car ?? Get a real job Son.. sell em wen the power stations are green and the charging network work is in place.. are you a con man" possibly change the tyre's for eco Freindly ones" if u can find a set? Before u bang your eco friendly car drum...
@cartiglobal
@cartiglobal 3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching the video. So you would be happy if it changes its tires to eco-friendly tires and governments and car manufacturers build more charging stations? lol Isn't it what they are doing right now? Everything takes time. Nothing can happen over night. Even when cars were first invented and manufactured, did the people in that time have enough gas stations and fine tires? I see your point, but I personally think it will eventually get better. "Environment-friendly" is what we humans need from now on anyway, right?
