Great to see someone show how the bait looks in the hole. Also great to see someone fishing inland lakes and discussing patterns that can be used on these lakes. What state are you in? I am in michigan just outside of detroit. I grew up icefishing for perch on lake st clair, but most of my trips now are on the local 250- 750 acre lakes so I am going to try some of your tips.

no, not for crappie. if there is the possibility of also getting big bluegill then you may want to tip them. a lot of times bluegill want some meat .
