I love neural dsp and kempers, but nothing will ever beat a good ol tube amp. My 6505+ and my SLO are my go to amps and I'm never getting rid of them

awesome amp - great demo Ola - still loving my PRS Archon 50 w V2 channel 2 is so fun running in stereo it has a beastish sound and feel very sonic - Peace and Love to all people

I got a Laney IRT Studio in a Gator rack case for $400 on Reverb. All tube, 3 channel, boost available on each channel, internal load with headphones out, and a solid metal footswitch. It doesn't have to be a luxury item, deals are out there to find. That Revv sounds massive. Would be a waste just sitting in a bedroom though.

I just got my g50 to go with my mki 120(it was Keith merrow's now is mine 😆) g50 gives me most of that sound, insanely loud, and its like the weight of my pedal board. Insanely happy with this thing so i don't have to drag the big boy around when its not needed

1:48 Digital stuff will never replace my amps. Don’t get me wrong, today’s stuff like NAM, ToneX, Axe-FX III etc… are really great and sounds great. However, once you try a tube amp with a good cab, none of the digital stuff will sound as good as a good tube amp.

I prefer regular tube amps over plug-ins. They are a lot easier to use, and they sound organic and natural. Also, sorry about your back. I can tell you holding a les paul that high would make it worse.

I like to hear the "in the room" sound. It's more "authentic". When you run amps into a load-box/impulse responses/direct-to-DAW... you don't even hear the amp anymore. Sick of KZbinrs "demo-ing" amps directly into their computers. That tells me NOTHING. Plug it into a 4x12 cab and crank it up! Let me hear it IN THE ROOM. So thanks for doing this. I can actually hear it, and it sounds BEEFY! 😆

When are you gonna start blend/combinate some of these and experiment !? :P I started in the wrong end and bought alot of stuff but cant play XD But half the fun is to try diffrent pedals/heads for see what cool tones that comes out. No clue how to play but it feels good to stand in front of these stacks :) Also if you crossing Skövde, your very welcome to drop by and try my stuff out :) Alot of orange and more for the stoner/doom geanre that you have goten your eyes up for lately ;)
