Hi Bernie, The mike works well, of course the Clarkson is a problem but the audio is marginally better in my opinion. Still that bearing noise does cut through. You might have to go to voice over when using it. You won't get much sympathy for your machine dilemma. It's a problem many of us would love to have. I look forward to seeing what and why you decide to do about it. Cheers.

Hello Gary. Still scratching my head about what to do. I might try to lube it first. BC

Hi BC audio seems fine, can definitely hear the knackererd bearings on the Clarkson? It’s clear you like the TOS and I guess that’s a rarer machine than the Cinci, I ‘d restore the Cinci though as for me electrics would be easier for me to do that adapting it’s parts to the TOS.

All my T & C grinders make the noise. However the Clarkson is a low hours machine. When I bought it there was a wasp nest in the start switch and it would not hold in. The machine was robbed for parts and not used. BC
