While Roger is meeting Quentin Collins (saying that he is a descendent) Amy starts playing Quentin's music to trap him. In another storyline, there is another supernatural force in Collinwood that actually frightens Jeb!

Always loved the Willie-Barnabas bromance. 👏🏻

Welcome back, Roger Collins. You add just the right amount of skepticism to Liz's blind allegiance to the cause.

Louis Edmonds was such a wonderful actor, every time he was in the scene I couldn’t take my eyes off him.

@@poetryjones7946 I always enjoy the scenes on DS, when Liz and Roger are bickering. We saw more of that in the DS episodes before Barnabas showed up at Collinwood. KLS once described the scenes between Joan Bennett and Louis Edmonds as a “study in icy disdain.”

I love Quentin's outfits.

I think that Barnabas has become more understanding, and human in this episode. He was very kind to Willie! (shock!) Such a change from the way he treated Willie at the beginning of his career on Dark Shadows! The way Jeb talked to Barnabas, threatening him, just makes you hate him! He's despicable! And don't you just love Willie for resolving to stay and help Barnabas? Great guy, that Willie Loomis! ~Janet in Canada

I cannot wait for Jeb to make an enemy of both Nicholas and Angelique.

side note to this storyline. I always wonder where those magnificent set pieces like the grandfather clock ended up. :)

@@rustynailmendlesohn8710 Yes, and what happened to Barnabas’ coffin (which was reportedly too small for Jonathan Frid), Josette’s music box, that statue of the bare-chested man-shoveler in the foyer of Collinwood, Nicholas one and only gray suit, the famous DS quilt seen in just about every room in Collinwood and Collinsport, Professor Stokes’ monocle, Sam Evans’ trademark pipe, Buzz Hackett’s cool leather jacket, etc.

@@kensellers4082 Perhaps they were auctioned off. I know that some of the DS actors auctioned off their scripts for charity.

I would speculate whatever frightens Jeb, could be one of the ghosts of Jeb's victims such as Paul Stoddard, & Sherrif Guthrie?
@MissWitchiepoo25 күн бұрын
Yes Stoddard in that coffin is the funniest thing I have ever seen and I couldn't stop laughing. I loved Quentin so much even though I was only 9 years old.

Is that the chick who became a blueberry???😂😂😂😂
@ahcapella4 ай бұрын
Yes, cutie Denise Nickerson who played Amy Jennings (15:45) in _Dark Shadows_ was turned into a blueberry in the 1971 _Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory._ I had somewhat of a crush on her when she was Amy (even though she was an “older woman”), but my heart _still_ belonged to Penny Robinson, lol!

Yes, that was curious. It was as if he had another line to say, and was a split-second away from saying it, until Frid chimed in.

Sad that in this plot line the superstar bad boy Quentin has been reduced to having tea.
