strangely enough, they are announced as running and marathon shoes. Yes, it is a pleasure to run in them .... if you do not think about the aesthetic side of things. And the thing is that running in itself means running in any weather. So the nuance is that those splashes, dirt, etc. that got on the sneakers (especially on the nose, as the most prone to pollution part) - you will never wash anything else, because the dirt passes between the two layers of the mesh and there and remains. I got into them under a very little rain - as a result, the noses of both sneakers were in dark stains and none of the stain removers could clean this dirt. So I recommend wearing this color only in clear sunny weather. .... In general, it is strange that such a moment was not thought out at the very design stage.

@@RealLifeReviews but there is a way out)) a little tiring, of course (especially when you consider that these sneakers are not cheap at all)), but nevertheless. Literally right away, without waiting for all the dirt to dry, rinse the contaminated places under a strong - directed pressure of water (many shower heads have such a mode), and all the dirt is instantly washed away. They dry (considering that there is nothing special to dry there))), very quickly. There are no other options but to walk around with dirty noses)

Thank you for taking the time to comment. As for size I would generally go a size up on UK sizing. These are 8.5UK whereas my Hoka Speedgoats are 8UK.

How do you find the fit around the ankle. I've found that The SC trainer and Lerato irritate my ankle on the medial side, particularly on my left foot.

I personally haven't had any irritation at all - it is though a very personal thing, but as I say, no irritation on either the medial or lateral side.

Any way to get the rubbing from the stitching to stop? I put a thick gel Band-Aid on the shoe to try to stop it, but it does not work

Hi there. I'm really sorry you're getting some rubbing. Where is it rubbing on your foot? The reality of shoes is that they are so personal and sadly it may be that this shoe does not fit your foot. Personally, I've not come across this problem with this shoe - sorry.
