Could you do a shoe wardrobe breakdown? I.e. what shoe you prefer for long/easy runs, workouts faster than tempo, and then maybe your race shoe(marathon vs 5k)? This was another great video, already looking forward to the next!

I love the V1 version of this shoe. I still use it for my long runs and was considering even buying an old version from stockX since the V2 was very different and not my style. Great to see that the new version looks very similar to the original V1. I might considering buying it after you review!

I also had the v1 and loved them. These aren’t quite as tall, but still has a similar feel

I would rather listen and watch Michael with his timing (proven) than someone who all of a sudden became an instant elite runner and coach and speeing random nonsense stuff. Keep up the good work in your vids michael!

Tying the shoes once and slipping them on and off is so relatable lol.

I think I might be stuck in the 2000s running, I find these very cushiony trainers cause me shin splints regardless of pace. I’ve tried kayano-30s, ghost max and Mach 6. I think the absorption and instability are what cause it 🤷🏽♂️ currently liking my ghost 15s

Good review, it will be interesting to see how many km or miles you get out of these. Seeing the hill wear at 100miles (160km) I guessing 200 to 300miles before they are unstable in the heel with lateral stability issues?

I wouldn’t say I gave you flak about aesthetics, it was merely a question about your scoring.

I didn't like it at all. First issue, I use to have size 12 with asics, this shoe is not true to size at all. I had to change for a 12.5 then tried it and... It was still too small. I should have to order a 13 but I couldnt change anymore.. Other point, too much soft, or for easy runs but a pain for tempo, fartlek, speed runs. Not responsive at all. There is grip, very cushionned, but even with that at the end of my run I had a pain in my left foot so... I will change for asics novablast 4.

Hi. Sorry for silly question. What is for you easy pace? 2:00-3 mile slower than 5k or what you use for it? And for example long run are the same pace when easy?
@mottesen_runs3 ай бұрын
Easy pace for me is anywhere from 6:30-8:30 pace I would say, which is 2-4 minutes slower than 5k race pace. And long runs can be done at easy pace, I usually run them at a moderate clip though (5:30-6:00 pace for me)

@@mottesen_runs thanks for reply. For 50 miles a week you recommend 2-4 miles slower than 5k for easy pace or no?
