Beautiful, I am mesmerized by the double dome crystal. Most bronze watches are bulky and rugged, this one contrasts the bronze with a shiny, jewel like core.

The Aquascaphe Bronze, especially with some patina to darken the metal, is truly beautiful. It is elegant and rugged at the same time, with near perfect proportions, at least for me. It is "vintage" in a way that stretches to centuries past and times when steam engines chugged alongside horses, yet it is completely modern in technology and reliability. It is not just a beautiful watch, but a beautiful thing that goes beyond just it's function. I am blown away.

This comes very late, bc I've just recently acquired an Aquascaphe bronze in black. Totally agree with you, Ben. A watch of vintage-modern vibes that's a stunning beauty. I've have other bronze watches... but this is the PERFECT design for me and I don't really ever need another....

The glass and the curves look amazing. Simple watch.

Nice review, good visuals on the watch. A watch can’t ‘patina’, because the word patina is a noun. The verb is ‘patinate’.

I would love to see a follow up, how bronze patinated after a few months! Please can you post an update? :)

This one stands out to me because it's the only watch in their lineup with the glossy black dial instead of the textured matte black. I feel like the double dome works especially well with glossy dials, so I'm stumped as to why this is the only option offering it in black.

Great video. Thank you. Can you make a follow up video if you still have the watch? Cheers.

I have a bronze borealis seastorm which I’ve worn working out and in the water. The bronze crown fused to the case which took me about 10 minutes to unscrew once.

I own one of the earliest aquascaphes for about 2 years now and I am really happy with it. I also made a review about that watch on my channel.

If I wear this everyday and constantly swim with it in the ocean and lakes pretty much daily should I be worried because it's bronze? Will it turn my skin green since I'll be in the water a lot?

The crown is different and that's what puts me off this lovely watch

Thanks, great review. I am considering this watch as well. Did the crown eventually patina?

It hasn't 🤔

@@OffTheCuffUK So strange, I had the Aquascaphe bronze from the first limited run. The crown showed the same patina as the case. Would be such a bad call if they changed the crown with the re-issue.

I confirmed with Baltic. The crown is a different material.

How's the rotor noise? Any chance for a clip of that or general feedback? I have found my only Miyota 90s5 movement to be VERY loud as far as the rotor is concerned
