I think the first summer is actually good time to clean ruins and kill cave bosses (like AG or toadstool, maybe even nightmare werepig). By the time of the seconds summer, I think everyone will have enough resources to build at least 5 more flingos if have looted gears in ruins, so it won't be a problem anymore. As for lureplants, I always have just stored them in chest and use only for cheesy things and just forgot that they can produce leafmeat. Definitely will use this trick.

In summer i mostly go to cave/ avoid going back to base in case i didnt notice a smolder on sumthing (trying not to rely on rollback toomuch lol), this base looks promising, will try! Thankss

Subscribed around the time you posted the Maxwell rework info; great to see some videos from you again. I'm surprised this video didn't mention using lureplants to "extend" the range of your flingomatic (by placing them at the edges of the extinguish zone), but it is a bit finicky. I always keep a watering can on hand for extinguishing random things in summer.

I started making bases that just have the crafting stations and a farm but keeping things organised or just using chests in general is something I just forget to do. And also wildfires that are caused by tumbleweeds. terrible things :(@@Wattata888

Ahh i see, in the early game, you can make 1 chest beside your crafting stations that store your important items (like gold, gears, boards, cut stones, silk), then the rest of the items, you can lay it around, its okay as we dont have enough resource in the early game to make many chests, about the "fireball" tumbleweed, try to avoid base nearby desert, and also avoid near mosaic biome as the meteor rain radius can increase as time goes 😄

hi Sine 😄glad you love the base design 😊 emm the thing is, sometimes desert biome is located at the end part of the world, like, it doesnt connect much to other biomes (compared to savannah / pig king biome that usually in middle of the map). But yes in desert its also beneficial, rolling tumbleweeds can give us many good things and cactus is easy to get 😄 you usually base in the desert? 😄

Sorry late reply, im using Action Queue Mod that help to do actions we need to do with quick drag n click (example like planting the flowers, or placing the walls in a line), I hold shift then drag my mouse for the space where I want to do the action (example, where I want to plant the flowers as in the video), give this mod a try, its very helpful 😄 Sorry late reply @Abyss, thank you @Sworin helping to reply 😄🤗
