Another great Merrill Heatter game show. Like The Hollywood Triangles. I've been a game show fan all of my life. Your the best Winkler. $$$$ XXXXXOOOOOO.

0:55 My nightmares in my teenage years involved that; although I think that this is a fun game show moreover.

Interesting how the National Enquirer commercial made it into this show. I remember SNL having a takeoff on the Enquirer ads by having a cutout pic of Bing Crosby beating a cutout pic of his son, Gary, into the ground w/ a golf club.

Funny how through two shows and three games, not one triangle has turned blue.

I guess Charlie Tuna did this version of the show because the original announcer Rod Roddy was busy doing Press Your Luck

"Press Your Luck" wasn't on the air yet. That debuted on Monday, September 19, 1984.

Battlestars is hard to come by these days because of Trebek's popularity on Jeopardy afterwards, I assume that reairing this, even on the USA network where it did reair other Merrill Heatter property like All Star Blitz and the 1987 reboot of High Rollers, could have affected his overall performance as in the case with Chuck Henry and the reason why the 1989 reboot of Now You See It hasn't been reaired at all yet.

I think this version was too "Same-y" to the original game. I liked the original better where the bonus round was uncovering a pic of a celebrity uncovering tiles hiding the face of said celebrity.

Interesting comment by Tom Wopat at 15:38. Could he have known something that everyone else didn't? Hmm... Seriously though, I wonder when Alex taped his first pilot for Jeopardy?

The first pilot with the computer set and Fleming logo was taped in September 1983

Alex hosted the first JEOPARDY! pilot for his version in Sept. 1983, just a few months after the end of production for this game show.
