I feel like they don't want to do the R&D/retooling and let LTT do the RDO cut instead. The inside of the slide has a lightening cut that makes any optic direct mount system infeasible. They said no after looking at how to do it for 2 weeks due to the reasons above, but LTT does give you a plate system, and new 1/3 co-witness irons.

@@ghostdog2041 They don't have any laurels to rest on. Beretta hasn't been a competitor in the United States pistol market since...perhaps the early 1990's? They compete in one market only: shotguns. Their rifles aren't competitive, their handguns aren't competitive. They don't have a particularly good reputation for handguns in the U.S. with a lot of disgruntled ex-soldiers having put up with service guns (I know our agency didn't enjoy our Beretta products). I think Beretta realizes they sell their handguns to a very small market of Beretta fanboys. That's it. Those guys will buy every version of a 92 they can produce, and will occasionally buy something like a PX-4 because "different". I just got my PX4 Storm Compact Carry-2. I really like the recessed hammer, and really like the orange-red glow front sight. It's very easy to line up on target. Try it, you'll like it. - I have to say its trigger is the absolute best there is compared to all the other DA pistols I have - velvety smooth and precise DA action each and every time. Another thing: it's really good the frame is polymer. If it was metal, the pistol would be too heavy. As it is; it weighs 27.4 oz empty, which is notably heavier than any other compact pistol I have. -- I haven't fired it yet because I'm in the process of learning all about it. - One thing I think will really surprise new users of this weapon is the decocker. When I first racked it and used the decocker, I expected a soft seating of the hammer like on my other DA pistols. My CZ decocker is the best - it softly seats the hammer to half-cock. - Well, this decocker releases the hammer with seemingly full trigger force. I thought:- Oh boy -- that's not good! - It felt like decocking the hammer would certainly fire the pistol. The hammer force in decocking felt exactly the same as dry-firing it. - So, got my trusty 9mm dummy laser round - put it in there - decocked it - the hammer came down hard, but no laser fire. Dry-fired it and the laser lit up on the wall. Did both several times with the same result - decocking doesn't activate the laser round while firing the pistol does. Since Beretta does not cover this very strange phenomenon in their manual or in any review I've seen so far, can someone please explain how the hammer coming down with seemingly full firing force while decocking does not fire the pistol? Thanks.

This pistol has a major design flaw that was cleverly retrofitted by Langdon Tactical through his creative genius. Originally I had thought that the custom trigger job, a 1000 dollar cost, was required in order to perform the optic cut, but it is only 294 dollars for the optic cut.
@Quality_Guru10 ай бұрын
LT needs to seriously improve their web site. It’s ambiguous when you see the $1000 price tag for an enhanced trigger job without telling you that a pistol is or is not included in that price.

My .40 PX4 full size has less felt recoil than some 9mm. I love this gun. The fact that they added a heavier barrel for recoil and even lighter double action sounds amazing!

@rhandley100010 ай бұрын
Grip tape still??
@wheelguns4wheelmen80210 ай бұрын
Appears that way. Unfortunately. I will say, though, there is not much muzzle flip due to the rotating barrel and barrel weight, so you don’t need the aggressive grip texture that some guns need in order to be fired (on target) quickly. Just get a high grip and torque your off-hand arm to apply a good amount of pressure and go to work.
@rhandley100010 ай бұрын
I have a full size and it is a fantastic gun. I use a high grip, but that is where the issues comes from; there is nothing there for the entire palm of my support hand. I have talon grips and they do work well. But, if Beretta and Langdon and including them, it seems to me that they are almost acknowledging the problem, just thought tey would have a better fix then 'here are talon grips'. @@wheelguns4wheelmen802

Nice, hopefully these will be available in more places because I looked high & low for any of the storms last year & I couldn't find none of them nowhere in my area, Also it be really cool to see a micro version that is even smaller than the p365, it would be really nice to see a version that is in .45, & 10mm, & it would be really cool to see a version that is a system that could be changed or have add ons, like say you make 2 versions or so, 1 version can be .22 & 9mm, or 9mm & .45 cal, or .45 & 10mm, maybe a .38 & 9mm, Something like those 2 versions in 1 tool that can be changed, maybe the frame can be changed, the barrel, etc. Depending on what the user wants that day, so maybe they want a smaller frame .45, the next day maybe they want a bigger Frame 9mm, That would be really cool, and give a ton more value, 1 tool being able to transform into basically 2 or maybe more versions without having to buy a completely different full priced tool, because money is tight for most it would offer a ton of value no doubt. Also been thinking what if they made revolvers that had a quick replace cylinder instead of having to replace the 6 rounds 1 by 1 or with a speed loader, instead you just click a button like on a semi and the whole cylinder falls out like a mag, and you just pop the next cylinder in already full and it would click in an do it's thing like any other revolver, I feel that would be a super cool way to make them a lot more versatile & make them more viable in a age where semis kind of rule the day in terms of speed. Idk just a few ideas I think lots of people would like.
