New slippery bastard seems to be the best ability cards in red dead online for pvp and pve. It was really bad choice for pvp after the summer update, but in the last rdr2 online one thing about this ability card was changed, now it's not countered by PIB.

I have been using this ability since I leveled high enough to get it. After the Frontier Pursuits update i obviously struggled quite a bit. With the moonshiners update coming I thought they had to buff slippery and they did. I think they did a great job with it. Very happy where it is at right now. Ability is fun but like you said not overpowered. The Tonic change really levels the card. I am still figuring out builds for it so I am really looking forward to your video on that. Since the summer update, I’ve been SB rushing with the Lemat dual-wield shotguns. Waiting for opponents to fire to turn off SB and blow them away (that’s what she said) with revolver rounds is a great idea, and something I’ll definitely practice to finish anyone who survives the shotguns!

Am new to the game. I think back then PIB users could paint you but what if R* combines the free aim with the new change? To me it would be perfect and I wouldn’t use any other deadeye card. My problem with it now is that it is going to effect me against NPCs so I would have to rock Carcano all the time which might get boring.

Bug using the lemats if you use the shotgun mode and spam fire when it auto swaps to revolver mode if you have the setting on it will have normal accuracy as long as you keep firing

We aren't using dead eye and not one of us buy ability cards and we were only using regular ammo 👌 he was level 237 and was messaging us all being salty as fuck because he couldn't kill us even with all his tricks... Yeah it was 3 on 1 but he shot first and kept coming back to kill us... He didn't quit 😐 then he got all his level 200 friends on to smash us with explosive ammo 🙃🙃 We challenged his posse to fight us without dead eye and explosive ammo, they ignored and continued smashing us lol so we just ran away 😂😂 we were fighting for like four fucking hours it was so dumb and pointless 😂 he started it... Got smashed then got all his buddies on because he was shit 👌 noice I love PvP RDRO

I think ability cards are fine... But just should always have weaknesses, and/or be reworked to balance them out. Being able to make every play style feasible is what they offer. Like melee/unarmed only, bows, thrown weapons, maybe even wacky stuff like pyromaniac builds! Having cards that let you compensate for severe weaknesses in usually non-meta play styles, while having to sacrifice some for others because of the 4 card limit... Can be fun if handled right.

The only reason that this doesn't mesh and upsets everyone is because the card was meant to make auto aim players and free aim players coexist. It's never going to work, just make free aim lobbies and get rid of the card. That solution would accommodate everyone in my opinion.

This shit is OP. Using it against griefers is fine but being a griefer and using it is stupid. I think adding a 5-second timer to it would be good, so it wont go on forever, and then a 15-20 second cool down on it so it can’t be used again. The base things can remain the same, lowering the accuracy to the opponent is fine, maybe make the accuracy better when they are closer because it feels stupid atm. If you enter deadeye and exit it without it being 5 seconds the cool down will still happen. This would fix it.

I don't know ...Ill test it but honestly I felt like it was balanced really well as beta was ending; during that time all three major cards SnS, Slippery and PiB were viable and more importantly switching them up often depending on the showdown or enemies location/play style was really fun and a skill that took some practice. They did not change remarkably and when they did it wasn't every other week. As long as you were good enough to either paint, hip fire or snipe - Slippery didn't feel as cheap because those pesky bastards couldn't eat bullets as this build appears to do. I believe given what we've seen this is rockstars MO. They aren't "interested" in PvP as they have made clear over the past year saying its "been done". They keep rotating the damage sponge or god like build from SnS and Slippery primarily but sometimes and far less frequently they make PiB the only real choice. I think its a way to appeal to low level players that want to feel as if they have some protection against high level "try hards" who have grown accustomed to one of two builds. I will say I see more individual players using focus fire but right now the balance feels cheaper. Luckily not quite as cheap as tonic spamming SnS tank users.
