I’ve been using Quite a Inspiration and Eye for Eye and Gift of focus with the unblinking eye and I’ve basically made a vampire that can sit in dead eye and heal permanently. But I’m thinking of sacrificing the unblinking eye for never without one to survive the initial headshot that you see across all levels with paint it black and a repeater or boot action.

I think card choices are very dependent on play style. I've never (personally) seen any value in Paint It Black because I practice patience with my Lancaster and go for only head shots (I use split point ammo despite the fact that I have no real proof that it's more accurate). If I am sporting a bow, I'll use PIB. Otherwise, I stick with Slow and Steady or Slippery Bastard. If I am using S&S and they try approaching me with Slippery, I just pop them with dual Sawed-Off incendiaries. I've found PIB very useful with dynamite arrows for lag switchers, though. It's a shame that the game is so full of cheaters these days that I have to take them into account when deciding which cards and weapons to run with. I feel like R* never bans anyone for anything so I have stopped reporting people. Even if you shoot a video of people using the "off radar" glitch, RockStar won't ban them. I feel as though R* rewards griefing.

This is a extremely tough build to fight my posse goes for the hogtie in this situation because you can put so many shots on someone and wind up getting head shot yourself

Slippery Bastard is a must-use card if you join alone in the free roam events Railroad Baron and Dispatch Rider. It is a crucial part of an all defensive build, otherwise you will be dead long before you reach the train or horse. - I also equip it if I feel like it in showdowns and sometimes when outnumbered against players in free roam.

I use “A Moment to recuperate“ a lot in some co-op PVE free roam events where you should kill the most NPCs. To reach a winning kill count it is better to restore health with dead-eye (and fast please) and keep shooting.

I never end up using Focus Fire and Quite an Inspiration if alone. In PVE you can one-shot-kill without Focus Fire and in PVP you _need_ other dead-eye cards to be competitive. I used it once or twice to support my team but it is hard to coordinate and you often end up using more resources than the team mates in distress would have used by themselves.

Iron Lung is very good defensive card which is practically always active, because it even helps to restore the condition where it is (i.e. full stamina). And if you build a deck with multiple defensive cards there is no probably no decent set which does not include this one. It is also a good addition to a set with Peak Condition.

Seems like R* wants us to use certain cards together. Like using Iron Lung and Peak Condition together. Or winning streak and gunslingers. Or horseman and friends for life. Iron Lung and Peak Condition work well together as IL keeps your stamina high, which makes PC more effective. IL also helps with overall damage. Peak actually seems more of an offensive card than a recovery card. I’m most curious about which is the best (non S&S) damage reduction card. Is it Iron Lung? Is it Fool Me Once? I usually roll PIB, Peak C, Fool Me and either Winning Streak or Landon’s Patience if I’m in Free Roam, or Strange Med or Eye for Eye in PvP.

Mostly agree with you, I have spend money on useless cards. But I think there is some builds of cards together that are for specific situations. What 's boring it's the fact to change the cards for ich build . Unless you take time to change before starting action. Like the horses cards in conjunction can be useful for trader long distance activity .things like that . R* should give us opportunity to have like saved build for activities like the outfits that you can change In 1 click

First of all PVPCat you deserve way more subs. You definitely know what you are talking about here. I run Slow and Steady, Strange Medicine, Iron Lung, and Fool Me once. I do this because I am not the best at headshots. Although Im okay at them I need improvement. This setup was extremely OP at first but R* has since nerfed it. Now although they nerfed it it is still a very very good defensive setup and it takes quite alot for people to kill me. I would say I win about 80% of the PVP encounters I come across. Its usually sniping that I sometimes lose at because Slow and Steady obviously slows my characters movement when strafing back and forth. I have been thinking about switching out one of my current cards for Sharpshooter and leveling it up. Do you think that card is worth it? Ok man thx for info video and keep up good work. Bro, can you pls remind us , what were the test results for the eye for eye and gift of focus? As far as I remember EFE was 20% restoration without deadeye and 10% with DE and the gift of focus stack brings 5% on top of each, is that correct?

Something i noticed since last tuesday, and i could be wrong and anybody can feel free to correct me, is that kick in the butt does not restore as much dead eye anymore as it used to do before the "free aim week". Altough I'm pretty decent at pib headshots i felt like was even better than eye for an eye, since tuesday i feel like R* wants us to use tonics and we can better use other type of cards than dead eye restoration cards, which i hate. Do u know if this is with all weapons? Would it be correct to say that with pib headshot playstyle express would be the better ammo? Thats way too overkill for dmg, all you need to guarantee one shots on most people is peak conditioning and Sharpshooter and this is with the Carcano, if you wanna %100 oneshot with it use rolling block, but Carcano follow up shots are insanely fast

Iplaygeeked they’re not going to add talismans to online, that’s what the ability card system is set up for. They already have the gift of focus to extend your dead eye tonics effects.

I like an eye for an eye better. I am really good at shooting so thats why. I practiced more than I like to admit but it makes it were I never m run out a dead eye. Combine that with PIB and you just aim for the head and you gain dead eye for every shot instead. Also I'm talking about if there all level 3

Slippery Bastard is not as bad as you make it sound. Consider it a variant of Slow and Steady: it doesn’t protect against head shots, but you can jog and run. Combine it with Fool me Once. Win 95% of the Free Roam Event Dispatch Rider with a “build” containing Slippery Bastard. Ending up second happens when someone lassos you or if the respawn point is just too far from the horse... In the Showdown modes Overrun and Plunder you make no points if every player in the team is doing the sharp shooter role. At least one player has to run and capture/deliver. Between covers and in the end zone Slippery Bastard is a decent “protection” to count on. Of course it can be countered with Paint it Black and sniper rifles, but if it couldn’t it would be totally overpowered!-The “summer update” change is actually not bad either: it makes it possible for the card user(!) to aim and shoot e.g. shotguns. Especially if you see your opponent reloading a double barreled it is time to get closer and deliver some from the sawn-off... all this with dead eye continuously _on_. And yes: it needs tonics, but this is what free roam is good for: without collecting plants, crafting and looting the game would get boring even quicker. Use the tonics! They have no value otherwise. Talking about tonics: I consider Kick in the Butt and most health cards (not all) a waste of card slots, because I can replace those cards with tonics.-In free roam the Slippery Bastard and Slow and Steady can be replaced, too: with Defensive Mode. ;-)

slippery bastard is only helpful when using a sniper rifle or shotguns, or when used against enemy npcs. i wish they never changed it. i loved that card prior to the nerf.
