Looks great. I like the fluffy one better than baked. If you're stuck with the store bought whipped cream add a little extra vanilla to it and you'll be surprised how much better it is. It has a little already but putting a tiny bit of the real vanilla changes it wonderfully. You may even fool some people into thinking you made it.... and you kind of did!😉💖

Oh Becky! How good to see you. Yesterday, I made one of your soups… the taco soup. I did it mostly from memory because I couldn’t find the video! Almost ruined it because I adjusted the seasoning several times before it was done!!😬 All I could taste was BEANS. So… Hot sauce, more taco seasoning, hot sauce, cumin, about 1/4 cup of chili powder and still pretty mild. So I left it to simmer for about 40 minutes and BAM! Such good soup. I thickened mine with a can of refried beans which I loosened with some broth. Perfect. Thank you for the soup and the Scripture.and for today’s beautiful pie recipe. You and I are not politically aligned Becky. However, God has been putting unusual choices in my path for some time where people are concerned. He is teaching me to keep my heart open. We always had apple butter on our table when I was a child and my mother put up all the fruit and vegetables we ate year round! Jacob tells me about some of the things they’ve made in life skill class and Logan has been doing some cooking for a while. I really like the idea of a gingersnap crust. Vanilla wafer crust is so good too as a variation as you mentioned. I use it for a layered no bake coconut cream pie.
