Chopsy, I watch your stuff because you come across as a nice chap. You don’t need to compromise your channel for £’s. It’s your integrity and sense of fun that we all like.

Its easy to underestimate how well you are thought of. Especially on this medium. You earn all the respect and affection for providing such good quality Vlogs and being a really nice guy. I like the idea of a collaborative channel. Chops Duets. Good one. Shifting to a 3 day week in your day job is a good idea. Obviously we all need money to eat and live etc, but don't overlook the life balance doing more of what you enjoy. That's my peniths worth.

Nice ramble Chops. I think you have a decent enough number of loyal supporters that are keen to see some new ideas but also honest enough to say if they like it or not too. If people are unsubbing after one "dodgy" vid, it was only a matter of time & they were never in it for the long run anyway.

Here's my two cents worth and whaf works for me. Eliminate everything that's unhealthy from the house (chocolate, crisps, biscuits, processed food etc...) If its not there, you can't eat/drink it. Next, go out for a 2 mile walk 3 times per week. Use that time to clear the mind, perhaps take Mrs Chops along, she might benefit from it too. Sounds like the upcoming content is exactly what all your subscribers are here for, keep doing what you're doing Chops!

Chops, you have a great channel. I have folowed a few guys who have gone from on the side to full time u tube. They all attend same launches, struggle with original content and go from a normal bike nut to a commercial motorcycle marketing organisation. Stay amateur and be one of the boys enjoying motorcycling.

I don’t know how you keep so enthusiastic on your vids after 15 years of doing this. I find now it just takes away the pleasure of just going out for a ride when having to do a video. Find myself getting home spending hours editing the video and bang a whole day gone for a hours ride. I have slowed down my channel “ MotoUK” for simply this reason. That and my other hobby the boat. Hats off to you for doing this so long. 👊

It certainly is hard starting on KZbin now! I do it despite bikes being saturated on YT and me being too bloody old. But it's nice to have some videos you've made on KZbin,. It shows off my county, too, for southern riders wanting to escape to great and quiet country roads. But yeah, YT is tough, but it helps if motorcycling is a passion

Why people unsub from channels just because of a bike change I don't know. It's the channel and presenter as a whole that keeps me or others engaged. As regards the food pill: can I have the all English one for breakfast, the fish and chips one with tomato sauce for dinner and the lamb buna for t pack of 3 please😂

On the health kick theme. I changed my habits around three years ago. Like you John, I got colds and flus raguly in the winter. Also I suffered from chronic heart burn. I started by cutting out carbs and this led on to finding out about intermittent fasting. It has been a revelation to me. No more heart burn. The weight dropped off me, I rarely get colds, and my energy levels are amazing. In short, here I am in my mid 50s, in the best shape of my life. It also has huge benefits to the bike life. You feel so much more agile on the bike.

Ditch the gym they’re so f’ing boring, do some local hikes, decent head torch (Fenix), some lightweight breathable gear and hit the country lanes / footpaths. An hour a day will really start making a difference and you’ll feel better as well plus it’s free. Good luck with the new channel sounds interesting, and that new Honda should be an absolute winner 👍

always loving the content chopsy , the hornet sp reviews seem amazing so I don't think you can go wrong with that one , I think keep it fully stock for resale and warranty side of things for a year, but then if you keep it give it the upgrades. as far as your channel goes you can do what you want now as far as content , in my opinion your channel will only grow now as you have put in the hard work , I've been watching you for years and it's getting bigger and bigger , regardless we are all rooting for you and we won't stop watching you any time soon 👍🏼😎

Just relieved to hear you aren't bringing another BMW GS to KZbin.....already quite a few of those. How does flashing the ECU invalidate your entire warranty? I can see it would invalidate any problems that could be connected to the ECU but how could a warranty issue with a brake master cylinder, wheel, or frame cracking etc could be invalidated by flashing an ECU?

Re losing weight, you're not the only one, somehow I've achieved the net weight of 20 stone, and I hardly eat anything, thankfully like you I have an amazing physique so I carry it well, LOl. Re collaborations it sounds interesting, perhaps you can establish a 'Superteam' of regular tubers, it could be the start of something big, imagine .......Team Sock, Team Chop, The Bikers Stable, Tubeway Army, the merching opportunities could be endless, Lol. I'm getting silly now, anyway I shall watch with interest either way, have a fantastic 2025 and I hope you shift the cold pronto! PS the bike sounds sweet. Cheers Tony.

Chopsie, me and the wife are the same age as you and my secret to success of keeping the weight off, as i love food too, is to be very good mon to fri and then relax and have food i fancy on a weekend only, but just don't go crazy with it. Also my wife has lost almost 4st by simply doing the same, but she skips breakfast too. We also started walking quite a bit, which is easy to do, costs nothing and really works. Gotta be worth a try. Love ya.

Cut down on alcohol, there are plenty of zero lagers, beers, ciders & stout (Guinness being excellent) most of them ok to good. I am improving my GX - I got it for Xmas - bit by bit. My deflector looks like yours but I used a heat gun to bend it to the same shape as the screen. It's wider but only cost about 10 quid (Ali Express). Next was grip puppies to suit my old hands.... Race stands instead of centre stand. Givi box with backrest to help pillion instead of panniers. Risers are on their way as I think it will make me sit further back into the comfy part of the seat. Might drop the pegs and look into heavier bar ends too. Look into intermittent fasting if you really want to lose weight. Works for me. Everybody loves eating, but healthy eating means you'll live better for longer. It gets more important as you get older. I was the same shape as you but now at 69 I've got a 6 pack back. I do a daily gym program at home. Sundays off. Only drink a couple of times a year. I used to be a big drinker but I got sick of it and having hangovers. I think bikes are cheaper than smoking and drinking. Good luck and interesting blog

Awesome video! I can't wait for the Hornet. Looks to be a great bike. BTW I lost 43 lbs on the KETO diet. Following a doctors suggestion. It was perfect for me because I don't have a sweet tooth. You can have any protein . I love salads with a good steak. There are lots of KETO friendly breads and tortillas so Mexican is good. I did it a period of 6 months so it was gradual. Since I hit my goal weight I upped my Carb intake from 30 grams to 50 grams and no weight gain. I highly recommend it. Best!

Congrats on 15 very impressive years on KZbin Chopsy!! I'm entering the 6th year now myself and it's been slow and steady going. Interesting Idea about the Moto Nexus channel, hopefully I'll be worthy of a collaboration one day! Talking of AI, I've uploaded 22 years worth of personal diaries to my Google Drive and now it's possible to get Gemini AI to interrogate the content and I can ask Gemini questions based on it all. It's fascinating to have "someones elses" opinions on my life; to analyse my ups and downs over the years and to chart my personal growth. Although I'd probably be better off with a real therapist 🤪

The January millionaire sock bit was absolutely hysterical😂👏 As an adult myself, I’ve been Bah humbug for quite a few years. Can’t seem to get out of it except for when I’m going on rides and doing big purchases for myself, and then the dread and guilt slams down like a sledgehammer! As far as the weight thing, I lost just over five stones, about 80 pounds of fatty fat. Chops It was done completely by reducing food portions and daily calorie count. Also eliminating beer😭 Chops you may not have to eliminate beer, but for me it was paramount for reducing weight.

MotoNexus sounds like a good idea. Been thinking along similar lines. There should be enough content for daily drops eventually. Consider what the main types of moto videos are and and try to have something for each: reviews within each category, adventures, techniques, maintenance, tech deep dives, racing, off-roading, modifying, etc. Don't forget U.S. channels either, lot's of admiration for UK videos over here and there's some good opportunity for cross-pollination there.

Other channel sounds a good idea, I think the same bike does the rounds and is reviewed by the various channels. People will only watch that review on one or maybe 2 of the favourite channels after that no ones watching. Advantage is, with a few of you Kate, Dan and Greg. They could review the none mainstream bikes, giving a much wider appeal. Hornet, interesting about the SP. I was told late March on the system last weekend but he said it might slip into April and beyond. I have a go on the standard booked, when it comes in.
