Check out this new add-on I just saw yesterday. I will likely get it tomorrow. Pixelmodeller AI....it says it can build a 3d model from a still photo. If true, I see many possibilities, like building a 3D model of a face and then extrude the mesh to use on a rigged character. Not sure if it is possible, but it sure seems like it could be.
