Omg... the more I see it the more I'm starting to believe... 10000000% surely Jagex and GGG games have some sort of hidden collab! Both RS3 and Path of Exile have insane amount of things in common. There's a boss in PoE that has the exact same mechanic of putting squares around it and so many more similarities jeez!

wonder if the final boss is some follower/avatar of amascut or potentialy Amascut herself. brasica prime did acctualy not get banished from the new edict and is still chilling in the emperial citadel (and yes i have quest cape on the account where i did see him) and Amascut is not even considerd a "god" but a demigod while brasica prime is considerd a god. there is also other beeings that is considerd to be on the lvl of demigods still around like Raksha the shadow collossus and the wikipedia mentioned that beeing that the edict did not effect entities that was considerd to be demigods.

Id love for them to make various challenges for the sanctum and use it as a way to take old bosses no one does or wants to do and update them and give them a “rebirth” so to speak

doesnt anyone else find it weird how jagex seemed to have nothing planned until everyone complained and then planned so much content, do you think they hired more devs? or maybe managers became more assertive with the devs and are putting a tonne of pressure on them, (my manager does this to me so code is pretty crappy and I know things will have to get redone in the futurem sidenote: i cant wait to leave)

Knowing jagex they had this shit planned for 6+ months but didn’t want to mention anything to keep the game “mystery” alive. OSRS kind of has the opposite issue where players know literally every detail prior to release meaning they get pissy when things aren’t exactly how they want it.

Not really, It's honestly annoying we have to go through this every time (example EGW is a praised year but if you go back to earlier that year you find people were dooming like crazy even wondering if the EGW dungeon had been scrapped) because people can't control their imaginations in dry periods. Most players just don't get that content takes literal months to create, the average production time for an update is 3-4 months (it really can vary heavily based on art needs as art takes the longest to produce). But that's not counting all the scheduling and pre-production that adds way more time which is why when they do things like a heavy schedule overhaul like they did last year it results in a serious ripple effect in their ability to share plans/release content and has to be seriously weighed against the cons of doing ripples like that. Taking the EGW narrative for example had its timeline drawn out like 5 years before. However a live service game and a live service game has to adapt and remain flexible, that's what makes sharing stuff hard. They change and tweak plans all the time usually for the better like the EGW dungeon we got was waaaaay bigger and more ambitious than what was originally planned and basically everything got shifted around. But people take every shown idea as a promise (even stuff where they literally say it's a tech demo exploration not a plan) and hound them endlessly if it doesn't manifest. The difficulty is finding a medium where they can deliver info on stuff that is guaranteed without overpromising, share too much or too little and players riot. And what happened this year is they heavily reworked their plans and internal processes right in the final quarter, to put into perspective they were already drawing out 2025's plans mid-last year, so just think about how much internally they had to juggle around. This sanctum stuff was likely planned all the way back in 2022 as they dropped hints of it there. Where Bilrach's servants were going around gathering information, and by extension Moia was as is revealed in that same quest, there is a part where we find out that they are researching Amascut. The stuff involving Amascut is the only information Bilrach never uses in his plot, and furthermore we know that before they settled on the civil war narrative they were planning to do the Desert finale instead but didn't as they had a mandate to focus on the wilderness which wouldn't flow into a desert narrative well and the desert story lead jmod was at the time bound up in creating Necromancy. In other words they've been trying to do get the desert tied content going again for a long time.

Doesn't look anything like her and the blog described the bosses as her soul devourer guard dogs, most likely it's one of amascut's cursed priestesses. She had a lot but we've only ever met two, both of which betrayed her and are cats so we've never seen what they can do.

Can you do a complaining video about how clan xp has been broken since February and its a known issue thats not being addressed? It seems like xp works for some people and is stuck for others. Runescape high scores is showing errors so its a rs api issue and not through runepixels or other site that feed from the rs api.

Soul Devourer Dark Beast > Soul Devourer Hydra probably the hydras that used to be a problem in desert according to lore > Mysterious woman who IMO is probably one of amascut's priestess as soul devourer.

I was pretty excited until I saw the first 2 bosses are a reskinned leviathan and a larger, but also reskinned Dark Beast.... Not saying it won't make this a good dungeon or even boss experience, just really lowers the bar to me

The Sanctum of Rebirth is a multipart update. The first update set here is the boss gauntlet, the next a major story quest, and the last is a new skilling boss so sanctum will have something for PvMers, Questers, and Skiller (not pures) when all is said and done.
