I am a beginner Wing Foiler who started jibing a few days ago. The smallest wing foil I have used so far has been 2000 until I tried HA1200 recently. It was my first time using 4.5 wing, smaller than 100 L Board (Code 98 L), and size 1200 cm2 wing. (One of fellow wing foilers here in Hua Hin let me try his equipment🥰😘) Granted the wind was strong, the foil was amazingly easy to pump and ride... Now, I have no fear of smaller front foil!!!.. 😘🥰

"The gorge is super windy, all the time"... ha, except when AWSI comes to town! :-D Seriously though, stopped by yesterday to check stuff out (I was the guy holding the '20 Cab front wing) - really nice designs and great engineering. This sensible wing design will likely help lighten my wallet... interested in answers to Allen's questions too.

For a future closer look, I would love to know more about the construction of the Code and weights as compared to other boards in the lineup and an overall user review. I would also like to understand the durability of the window in the X3 wing. I have heard many say that window plastic can cause issues in how you fold the wing and in overall longevity, weight, and performance. Will Cabrinha be offering a windowless version again in the future (maybe as an X4)? Finally, those foils seem like a really low front wing area from what I have seen suggested in the past. Does the overall wingspan of the foil change the recommendation for sqcm size recommendations I have seen before?

Hey Damian, I just got my code a few days ago. Looks nice and rides well so far. Just wondering if you could tell me which screws i should use for the straps? And maybe you could tell the guys at cabrinha hq that it‘s not the best idea to save on 20 Cents for a couple of screws when selling a 1500 usd board 🙄.

Jurgen, I will 100% pass along the info to the team. They are self taping screws! #12 x 1" from my recollection.... #10 sometimes work on a new board.

Are these 3.0 that much of an "upgrade" over the 2.0, other than the windows.

We believe they are a big upgrade, honestly! More balanced, less backwinding, very rigid! Handles are better. A lot better in my eyes!

"The biggest problem with windows is" - that they can crack in cold weather when Snowski Winging. Will you offer an X3 without windows?

They say they should not crack in the snow. At the moment they only offer the new X3 wings with windows.

We actually use TPU, and not vinyl or PVC, so the windows are HIGHLY resistant to cracking in the cold!
