Allow me to explain. Technically this isn’t the final episode. “Dominion” is the last one but there was a complication. There were plans for an episode called “House of Dolls” where the Mysterons kill and reconstruct an old toy maker and use him to build an army of creepy dolls. However, the episode was considered too scary, so it was scrapped and they had to quickly come up with this one. But when it was given to ITV, they didn’t swap the episodes round so this one was broadcasted last.

@@alexachipman In that case stay away from StamFine as well because it's a spoiler minefield too. The Gerry Anderson podcast has a section called "The Randomizer" where they watch a randomly selected episode of a Gerry Anderson programme. The plan is to watch every surviving film & TV programme. It's been going for about 6 years and I think they've got another 4 years to go. So when you've both finished they could have you on to compare notes.

2 great captain scarlet reactions to wake up to this morning were I am episodes 12 and 13 of season 2. I haven't seen stingray since I was a kid. I can't wait to see what you think of it . Ps good to see your okay after the car incident you mentioned.

A few weeks ago it seemed like deer throwing themselves in front of cars was an everyday occurrence locally and the deer generally came off worse. I liked the way this series developed the characters. I think that was the biggest improvement for me over the original. I thought it balanced the action quite well, which is always a plus for me. That said I still prefer the original. That's partly for nostalgia reasons, but also because the design of tv shows at that time was brighter and more colourful. I'm not a fan of darkness and shadows on my screen.

On the Dvd boxset, the synopsis for this episode has the one for "House of Dolls" on KZbin there's footage of the voice actors performing the script on stage at a convention. Looking forward to the "Stingray" reactions, the ones for "Terrahawks" should be interesting

Firstly, Alexa, what a lovely singing voice you have. There were plans at one point about 15 years ago for a live action Captain Scarlet series but sadly it didn't get very far, I saw one picture of Emma Watson in an 'Angel' uniform but nothing much else, I tried to find out more but I couldn't find anything solid about it, from what I can gather it was in the concept stage and that was all. It's a pity as I think that it would work well as a live action series.

Sad to see we have reached the end of your new Captain Scarlet reviews and also the series. 😔 I wish we could've gotten a third season of this show. But at least what we have is great. I am really looking forward to your Stingray reviews though ^^

A mysteronized deer? Given the choice of Captain Scarlet and UFO - which get's a new series?

A new series would ruin UFO (I am 100% against a reboot there) so literally any other show would win that.
