Yes - Gerry is a genius - I owe him a lot for all those countless hours of enjoyment that he (and his team) gave me. Well done Gerry - thank you!

I've just watched all the new episodes and they are excellent. Thank heavens Anderson did them and not Hollywood, given the hatchet job they did on Thunderbirds.

Just because Hollywood did a "hatchet job" on Thunderbirds doesn't necessarily mean that they would've done the same with another Gerry Anderson adaptation, so this is a flimsy basis to "Thank heavens."

I love this show, and I would love to have the Mysteron painting Gerry has behind is desk :D I love the detail of this show, and as a 3D artist myself I have a lot of respect for it's creators! :) Thanks for sharing!

first and foremost , Gerry Anderson created some amazing shows ( I wish that ( the original ) Captain Scarlet would have run to several more seasons . As for the new captain scarlet - IMHO , most folk that grew up with original series , won't be enjoying the ver 2.0 experience as much - a bit like our attitude towards CD's , after spending decades listening to records . That being said , I admire Gerry Anderson's attempt to relaunch captain scarlet into the digital age in the hope of resurrecting a hero of another ( very different ) era , to a generation bought on CGI

It was a great show... BUT and it's a big but; he sold it to the wrong people. He gave it to some crappy kids saturday show that nobody had the time to watch an hour or so into before the show even started. Given to someone like the BBC and it would've sky-rocketed but he gave it to ITV and it flopped.

And the same thing happened with cgi thunderbirds.
wow CRT monitors! its old school cgi. i prefer the cgi on the new thunderbirds tbh.

Roland Lawrence I think a combination of both would work better than either, if another take on “CAPTAIN SCARLET” was done.

I don't know why but the show used to freak me out. Not running around screaming like an idiot but just an odd feeling. Maybe the eyes, the music was creepy, I don't recall the show it was on and I was a little kid in 67. Dam Brits terrorizing poor American children. Still upset with the whole Revolution thing, well now were even.
