With 100 new villagers added in NL, I don’t think it’s unreasonable to ask for more! Realistically, I’m trying to guard my expectations, but new villagers would add so much excitement!

I'm definitely not usually one to jump on a conclusion like this, but I honestly don't see how they'd fill a 100 card set without adding some new characters to the game.

@@ChuyPlays It's totally possible based on the game's release timing, and how they clearly selectively held back content to get the core game out faster, instead opting to program and insert those features at a later time. With that + COVID complicating the timetable, it's very possible that a LOT of NH content has yet to come. (In addition to new content I'd bet that Nintendo internally sees what a smash hit NH is and is accelerating plans for a proper sequel sooner rather than later)

This is a very accurate prediction, even if old characters return, there is still space for new characters no matter what. My predicting for the 17 npcs in series 5 Tom Nook (Summer) Isabelle (Summer) Timmy Tommy Reese (Wedding) Cyrus (Wedding) Harvey Wisp Orville Wilbur Flick CJ Daisy Mae New Digby New Lyle Gullilvar Lloyd Label And including the 8 new villagers that has 75 spots left so very liekly, also Remeber it’s a series 5 not a New Horizons Series

Honestly, some of the OG animal crossing's removed villagers are really good. Some of them are arguably the most unique looking villagers in their species, I want my spikey boy Woolio to make a come back! But something I wonder is if the villagers will be like the welcome amiibo villagers in acnl where you can't get them any other way than to buy the cards, which would kinda suck

There are definitely a ton of great designs that deserve to come back! I think a mix of old and new would be wonderful. As long as we get some fresh faces, I'm happy.

removed villagers that came back in new leaf could be traded by players! so if they come back on nh itll probably be the same case AND theyll show up on random islands, the restriction was only to sanrio villagers

@@spaacechannel5 The thing is, we don't *know* that they'll be on the islands, because like I said, the welcome amiibo series didn't show up from random move-ins in new leaf. But I mean yeah, you can trade for them, which I supposed I should have been more specific about what I meant.

I would love to see new/returning characters! The OK Motors crew deserve more recognition! I wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo changed things up a bit for this series and did 70-80 cards instead of 50 or 100 though. As for the Welcome amiibo cards, here in AU/NZ they haven't been restocked as far as I know, but there was an official Nintendo giveaway for them a month or so ago. I wonder if that means anything?

I hope you're right about the new villagers. But knowing Nintendo and how they've managed content updates for this game, I fully expect no new villagers. I honestly believe the new set of cards is just the Welcome Amiibo villagers and the 8 NH villagers.

Maybe can finally cross off "Substantial amount of new villagers and 1-2 new species" off the list of "stuff we all expected NH to have without a doubt, but didn't come for some reason". Although I can't get too excited just yet cause knowing Nintendo it could just be a small set of cards featuring only stuff we know about like what you listed. Also you forgot a card for Brewster with his new look :P

I'd love to see a bunch of new villagers and especially new species. In particular otters, skunks, tanuki (or raccoons), beavers...species that already have characters in the game. My one big concern is that like 8 of the 10 villagers currently on my island are among my absolute favorite villagers in the game (and even the two who aren't are still ones I like). If they added a bunch of new villagers that I love, I have no idea what I'd do because I don't know that I can let go of anyone on my island except maybe one particular villager. I'd really love to see Tarou come back as my island has a wolf theme and not only is he a really cool wolf villager, but he's also one of the only male wolf villagers who isn't a cranky type (and he's the only jock wolf villager). But I already have a jock villager who I really love and I don't know if I could replace him since he's been with me since the start of the game.

YES oh my I am so excited to meet the cute new villagers! Please Nintendo, turtle villagers would be perfect. I’m right with you on that one Chuy 😄However, I really wish they would let us have more than 10 villages. I want new ones but don’t want to kick everyone out, haha. And hoping for a new personality type as well! Would be really nice.

I would love to see a whole villager-themed update! Give us more to do with our island residents. It always seemed strange to me that NH launched with only a handful of new villagers. I think new species would be fun, but I don't want to get my hopes up. Regardless, i hope the update is significant and I'm very excited to see Brewster again!

I hope we get new villagers. If we do, I also hope we get a few more villager plots though. It's hard enough to narrow it down to 10 villagers now, and I don't want to let anyone else go right now. I'd like to see them add 2 to 5 more villager plots so we don't have to kick out beloved villagers to make room. Tl;dr - more villagers would be great, but we need some more plots, too. I get attached to my villagers way too easily

I love the Harv recognition. I'm hoping they redesign the welcome amiibo villagers in the standard villager card style. The rv design makes no sense because you can't get that furniture and I would love to have them match the rest of my cards. At the very least I hope they restock welcome amiibo series because I don't have any of them and non of the new players out of 33mil people have those cards either. I feel like you looking at it from the perspective of a already well seasoned player and not respecting that there are new players, a lot of them, younger generations just finding new horizons.

I'm honestly appalled they didn't give Harv an amiibo when he runs the AMIIBO CAMPER SITE! And that's a very good point! I definitely hold too much AC history in my brain so I can get caught up in all that while people new to the series have no idea what I'm talking about. I'll keep that in mind for my future content!

I didn't get to play the older stuff and get the old merchandise because it wasn't very popular where I am so they never bothered stocking stuff but now with New Horizon I finally get to play something I've watched from a distance. I love your content though. I'm surprised you don't have more followers.
