For years, traditional color analysis has struggled to categorize people with warm skin tones and cool black hair-often forcing them into Clear Spring simply because there was no better option. But what if there was a palette designed just for you?
Introducing the Deep & Clear Palette-a brand-new, exclusive Color Class creation that fills this major gap in color analysis! We’re breaking down why the 12-season system falls short for people like Tracee Ellis Ross and Meagan Good, how we developed this palette, and which colors will truly enhance Deep & Clear beauty.

I am the client mentioned. They had to create a custom palette for me since one didn’t exist. This is why I was never able to fit into any of the palettes. Thank you ladies! Worth every penny! I have been telling everyone about your channel. ❤ No one else explains things as well or is addressing these missing palettes. 🙏🏼

I love how you are expanding our concepts of palettes…I think a lot of the people who don’t believe in color analysis are people who don’t fit into one of the more common season pigeon holes. Thanks!

As a southeast Asian I struggle with the four palette system, most of us are deep in coloration and vibrant. That's the thing we can't be spring Bec we are not light, we have brown skin and dark hair. In my case, Im tan, don't like wearing stark white too. love your system coz it's more inclusive. Happy to be watching this video

I am also a client, too, and honestly, I had the same experience. Extreme soft, I also had the same experience. The custom palette was so worth every penny. These ladies are magic and life changing. I tell everyone, too! This will save money in the long run.

This is me! Always doubted if I’m deep autumn or deep winter, since my skin is a warm olive, but my hair and eyes cool black. Softer colours make me look grey, autumn colours are good, but so some of the winter.

As I went grey, I noticed that I needed clearer colors. With warm skin tone and cool hair I used to get my hair colored in a warm tone.

This is totally my palette! I’ve come to this through trial and error, since seasonal color analysis has never really worked for me. I have a mix of cool and warm with red-black hair, peach-toned skin, and teal blue-green eyes.

I think black women benefit the least from traditional color seasons. Most of us will have depth so that really isn't a distinguishing characteristic.

Exactly, Tracee Ellis and Meagan Good wouldn't be considered deep in comparison to other darker skinned black people. Ughr I think we need an entirely new system just for us.

Well of course, now that you've put it that way it's absurd to think that there would be colors simply left out because they don't "fit" into the prescribed buckets of even the 16 pallet system. You two are the myth busters of the color analysis space. Please keep learning, and then sharing your knowledge with us. 💕

I think Solange would also fit into this category. She always looks the best in brighter colors rather than deeper muted colors. I’ve seen her typed as Bright Spring and Deep Autumn.

Good job on highlighting a major flaw in the seasonal system. I was typed as a deep autumn over 30 years ago. The analyst covered my natural, neutral dark brown hair. My skin is warm learning neutral. Medium "olive". I am finding that I prefer clearer leaning colours over muted as these seem to brighten my complexion. Still better in a touch of warmth but I can go cool leaning with some colours. Not as high chroma as the "brights". Lights tend to wash me out.

Thank you for acknowledging this palette!! I've seriously struggled to find my season, i have neutral leaning slightly warm fair skin and similarly neutral deep brown hair. Softer shades, whether lighter or more brownish, really drag my face down and make me look grey and pasty. I am white and even i feel that i didnt fit into traditional color analysis, but i am quite sure this is my palette! I've always described my best shades as elementary school paint colors lol. But when i put those clear warmish colors on, somehow my shadows disappear and my eyes become bright and sparkly in spite of how eye catching the color is

Thank you for clarifying! I think I am in this category, because for me my skin is warm my hair was black now salt and pepper, and my eyebrows black and dark brow eyes, I never knew if I was autumn or winter but I thought my main characteristic was deep … 😅

I've been on just about every color site there is out there and I'm telling you--I am totally impressed with you two ladies. Your analyses (results) are closer to the PSC method, which is the "Cadillac" of color analysis, IMO. Love that you are figuring out how to do this within a seasonal method.

Can you do the analysis for the opposite side of the pallet - the light. Light summer is a bit too cool and light spring a bit too warm, bright is too intense, muted is too dull 😂 What would be the right one? Clear spring/summer?

I guess I’m confused about something. My understanding about seasonal color theory is that is based skin undertone and intensity. Y’all keep referring to “skin tone” , which is visible and not undertone which you can’t see. Which is why draping is so important. Can you help me understand? Thank you so much.

This is a wonderful video to see and a long time due. THANK YOU! I thought that this would cover my problem but once again I am outside looking in. 😢 I am a BRIGHT / CLEAR WINTER who is also DEEP. DEEP rather than DARK because my best colours are DEEP / RICH but nowhere near to the DEPTH or WARMTH that DARK WINTER has (and shares with DARK AUTUMN) and never as COOL / BLUE as TRUE WINTER. CLARITY is my primary characteristic above all else but DEEP and COOL seem to be just as important. My sister palettes are BRIGHT SPRING in spring / summer and COOL / TRUE WINTER in winter but always with DEPTH. This BRIGHT/ DEEP palette is the closest I've seen to my own individual palette but it is WARM based rather than COOL. So, what would my palette be called? Am I just a BRIGHT WINTER stuck in the narrow band of the dark / DEEP end of the core palette? 😅

So, those would be the deepest colours of/a deeper version of clear spring? What is the difference between a true clear and clear autumn, then? The colours you show here are those I picked precisely for my boyfriend: he's light with neutral warm undertone, he has light brown-amber eyes and black hair so he's very high contrast. I was inspired by Sophie Ellis Bextor, Mika, Fran Drescher, Timothee Chalamet, and others to find his exact depht which is medium for warm colours (grass green, sunny yellow, coral red), and light (aqua blue, turquoise, lilac or parma) or medium-deep for the coolish ones he can also pull off (dove grey, vibrant blues, magentas).

Sophie Ellis Bextor! Love her but I always thought she was super cool toned. I will have to go looking now to see her in the warmer colours! I like how you made your BF his own palette! I did for my daughter. She wears the bright deep orange-red, fuschia, and cobalt blue equally well (but not so much light lilac or any grey) so I was interested in this idea of a true clear with depth.

@@seaspiritinmeDepending on her hair dye or her more recent stage outfits with her natural hair colour, she looks stunning in flamingo pink, bright peach, vivid aquas and turquoise. Love her makeup in Come with Us, although she is "tanned" in the music video. She can also rock the kind of warm medium neon periwinckle in some music videos. I find that clear springs with very dark hair and very light skin can easily tackle the deepest colours of spring and borough from clear winters if the undertone is neutral-ish.
