SilencerCo has been doing the two spanner wrench tools with their suppressors for quite some time now, nice to see Deadair doing it as well.
@ChronicSwErVe6 күн бұрын
It is nice but they kinda suck my keymo mount always comes loose off my hybrid 46 because it’s hard to get good torque with those skinny spanner wrenches

Deadair is killing it and they have always been good to me
@calvins40845 күн бұрын
They shipped out thousands of cans that blew up and they refused to recall them. Also the owner refused to say anything on it or anything
@williamboggs16825 күн бұрын
They said if you have a problem they will fix it and they did I mean really how many were bad it’s the most back ordered can through silencer shop so can’t be that bad lol

I believe this is the first video I've seen where the front cap was taken off to reveal the traditional baffles that are printed into the can. On release day, Mike said that to be the case in their Shot Show video. The traditional baffles printed in purely gets the dB down. I'd find it interesting to have all of their new cans metered vs their old ones. Sandman S and Sierra 5 vs Sandman X and Lazarus 6.
@1stShotTactical2 күн бұрын
It’s pretty cool what they can do with 3D printing now! I’ll try and get them metered!🤘🇺🇸

If you're going to do a comparison between Sandman x and huxwrx, maybe do it with the ventum which is hub compatible and has a similar price point?
@1stShotTactical2 күн бұрын
Agreed! I still need to pick up a Ventum!🤘🇺🇸

To be honest my sandman is a lemon. I’ve had to send it back to be rebuilt 3 times. The mount has broken or been out of spec each time. The wolf9SD I have is great though.

On the Sabre line from palmetto state armory can I change the muzzle device to Xeno
@randoonyt2706 күн бұрын
Yes. I changed my Sabre 10a1 to Spooky mount for CAT suppressors.
@1stShotTactical4 күн бұрын
If it’s pinned and welded, you would have to have a gunsmith do it for you if it’s a 16 inch barrel that is not pinned and weld then you can change it🤘🇺🇸
@tgunz645 күн бұрын
I’d like to see this compared with the Velos 762. My next can will be another hard use can that’s definitely shorter than my Sandman L.
@1stShotTactical4 күн бұрын
I’ll have to try and snag one to compare🤘🇺🇸

I think gas venting thru the threads of the end cap would only AID in being a flowthru design... i mean, were talking about the front end of the can, not the back.... there i could see the arguement. Which part of why the huxwrx flow cans arent hub compatible....

Very true! Solid points man🇺🇸🤘

This or the Lazarus 6?
@randoonyt2706 күн бұрын
The answer is: depends on what your primary ammo use is going to be. 5.56 or 6 ARC exclusively, then Lazarus. Any other larger calibers then the Sandman X.
@derek31545 күн бұрын
Both😅

I really don't know why content creators continue to do live fire comparisons and keep using noise cancelling recording equipment. It really does make the comparison compromised. It all sounds the same.

That’s why I said like and share the video… good Db readers are expensive! Trying to get a sponsor to provide one🙌🇺🇸

Idk man...im still kinda stuck on the sandman s reliability until these new cans prove their strength over time. The S has been thru literal war, to hell n back, and it just keeps working. Gonna be hard to beat that when it comes to 4-5 years into use.

Too many 5.56. Its a 30 cal can. Use some other calibers and not just ARs and gas guns.

I think DA owes everyone an explanation regarding the Sierra 5 before people start buying their products again. I have the Lazarus 6.. it seems to be fine but will be my last DA.
@PnP-td1mt4 күн бұрын
I rockset rearden style mounts on all my hub cans. They tend to break loose before the plan B taper. Even with never seize on the plan B..
@toddmagee91682 күн бұрын
Dead Air addressed it with each individual owner and during that time they stated that it was a manufacturing defect. Not much else to say. The influencers and trolls that demanded answers made it into a huge drama, but in the end Dead Air to just dealt directly with the (relatively) small group of affected Sierra owners and kept the root cause explanation as a vendor issue. They had to start up all new production and it took several months, but each Sierra owner was taken care of in the end. People want to be mad, though. Welcome to the internet.
@PnP-td1mtКүн бұрын
@ the explanations we got was “baffle strike” which was BS. It was obvious the baffles were defective from the start due to the color difference alone. Some of us have experience with printed exotic metals from the form 1 space. We bring this up and was talked to like we were stupid. Some cans taking almost 2yrs to get repaired. Being handled at the time with the customer and the issues being brought up by trolls is absolute bull sh!t.
