You are truly and utterly radiant! Thank you for bringing us on your journey. I love the effect you get from mixing your colors directly on the canvas. It's a very different feel, from the audiences' points of view, from watching an artist mix in a cup or a squeeze bottle or palette. The stretched raw canvas is less forgiving than something you can rinse out if you don't like the hue, but I think that it's more in tune with your fingertips. Don't know if that made sense? Last week, Jazza, an Australian creator, uploaded KZbin content in which he painted each layer of a landscape on a separate sheet of acrylic and stacked them to create a 3D effect, which was marvelous. Your painting is a different take on a similar vibe. Wishing for your new home even more of the love you share with us, your students.
