There's some good BABYMETAL stuff on the Omajination KZbin Channel. Some of them are pretty funny. She does great work.
@bradkornatowski38665 ай бұрын
BabyMetal vs Frog is a classic. There is one video with translations, and it is twice as funny to hear that they say. Moa eventually befriends then weaponizes the frog and sends Yui after Su with it.
@jimnusbaum35895 ай бұрын
Anything from ohmajination is good. She has a video of all the Megitsune hengaos (funny faces). At a certain point in Megitsune Moa (and now Momoko) make a funny face or gesture to Su to make her laugh behind the fox mask. They usually aren't shown on the blurays but you can see them in a lot of fancams.
@Sunflowerseedsforivan5 ай бұрын
Agreed, you can basically do a video series reacting to all of Ohmajination's videos. Each of them is special, with high quality editing, great sense of humour, many information and obscure lore tidbits you won't find anywhere without a really extensive research.
@Sunflowerseedsforivan5 ай бұрын
The video you reacted to is really hit and miss, much chaotic. Ohmajination's videos are your safest bet regarding level of humour, quality of editing and research work put into finding interesting footage.

04:25 BM has a whole team of people to write songs. It would have been difficult to do it themselves since they started when they were 10 and 12 years old 😆 There are several people who work on songs, but one of the most notable is Yuyoyuppe, who is a metal Vocaloid producer. 06:30 yes, there are some people in the fandom shipping Moa and SU. 06:50 as for the bowling clip, that was Riho Sayashi, one of the Avengers that took Yui's plance in the 2019-2020 tour. Momoko too was an avenger before becoming permanent member 07:03 that was Momoko! 08:10 if you look at how terrorized SU looks, you can guess why it's kind of a meme how SU sends people who deserves punishment to the frog Pit 🤣

S-Metal has written the lyrics to Divine attack and Song 4 was written by Moa and Yui.

I agree with who suggested Omajination videos: i prefer them to the rnegitsune channel
@Grington3005 ай бұрын
Nearly any video like this will be fun. That particular channel does have big issues with men in general (hence the analytics bit) and she throws in bits like that and she really doesn't seem to like Kobametal - no idea why. The frog in the box was on a TV show they did in Taiwan when they went there to play a concert with the Taiwanese band Chthonic. The frog is legendary (and if anybody upsets Su they will be cast into the frog pit🐸). If you are really lucky someone will know where to find the whole thing with subtitles, but with the frog it isn't hard to guess what is going on without subtitles.

The frog show is the reason why if you go to a BM concert in Taiwan, you will find a surprisingly high number of people wearing frog hats!

I find it funny how she hates older men and treats them as they are creepy perverts yet she sexualizes Moa with her lesbian suggestions and fantasies. I never seen older fans say anything other than feeling proud of the girls, like a father, uncle, grandpa.

I always look forward to your updates. The frog footage is from a Taiwanese show. I think there's a full version with English subtitles somewhere. They've also appeared on Japanese music variety shows, so look for them. They were originally idols. That's why they didn't just sing and dance at first, they did variety work like that. But as they started touring the world, it became all about music. For a few years, they only showed their side as artists on stage, but as you know, since they became the "new BABYMETAL," they've been photographed in more natural parts such as interviews, and now they've even been photographed having fun like in the RATATATA music video. On stage during their overseas tours, they behave quite freely (they're often seen in fancams), but in the Blu-rays and other video works that remain, they perform accurately. This is just a guess, but I think they're trying to go back to their roots with MOMOMETAL joining. I think they want to make use of their bright and fun idol side, which is typical of them.

The girls struting across the cross-walk is an homage to the Beatles Abby road cover photo! Some day (soon), Babymetal will be as historic and famous as The Beatles! I can't wait for the movie, The History of Babymetal.

> "Who writes their music?" Their producer Key Kobayashi (aka. KOBAMETAL), basically, knows half of the Japanese music scene. Let it put me this way: There are limitless possibilities. In terms of writing the lyrics, Suzuka started with the recent album to write lyrics. It's only the track "Divine Attack" for now, but she did fairly god I would say. Definitely (at least) a thousand times better than I would. Also, Yiu and Moa were credited back then with writing the lyrics of "4 no Uta" ("Song 4") from thier first album.
@jordehwa3 күн бұрын
Late comment but while they didn't write their first songs, Moa and Yui wrote Song 4 way back as Black BABYMETAL and most recently Su wrote the lyrics of Divine Attack on their new album The Other One, which I believe to be an amazing rock/metal song.

If you really want to see what they're like, there are some good interviews from back in the day, at the start of their careers. Or, you can watch a lot of them in Sakura Gakuin, the idol group Babymetal started in. I can give you a couple recommendations if you're interested.
@kiino0015 ай бұрын
Always good to see them doing interviews and TV slots as it gives you a fun insight into their personalities. You should look at some of the Sakura Gakuin content if you're interested in the background as well as actual BabyMetal content. It shows them more as they are, SG was a TV show/idol project so not 100% natural but still fun to see.

The thing I like about the 'Amuse (Sakura Gakuin's Agency) Agencys' content is that it isn't creepy... There's a lot of Agencies who are real weird about sexualizing their talent from a really young age... And I mean... really... young. It's super fucked. Meanwhile 'Amuse', the Agency behind Girl group Sakura Gakuin (of Which BabyMetal originated even though they're their own thing now) is VERY open about the program (Where a lot of Agencies hide their shady shit... and for equally shady reasons), what it entails, and what the expectations for their talent is. ...It's more like they provide resources without ultimatum and allow people to work their way into whatever group or position they feel most comfortable within. Then they discuss opportunities with the talent and the talents guardians... It's legit probably the best Agency a talent could hope for because they treat you like human beings not a fucking commodity... and with how depraved the idol industry has the potential in being? Fuck... lol. A few weeks ago I heard a friend who's in the idol industry explain the difference between a good agency and a bad agency... and holy shit does it ring true. A good agency will help you market yourself, give you access to their people, and treat you like an associate... You will NEVER give these people money. It is THEIR JOB to work with you so you both make money off from YOUR talent and THEIR expertise... You will be treated as a professional in your own rite, and with respect regardless of your age. Your treatment there will be with dignity and empathy, because it is a HARD business to break into, and most people who try to be idols... will not make it. A GOOD agency will take that into account and make sure you also know the business side of things so you have the option to work within the idol industry as anything other than an idol in case being an idol doesn't work out for you. For instance... Maybe you weren't meant for the stage... but you may be a fucking genius songwriter, choreographer, or marketer. A good agency trains you to work within the industry regardless of if you become an idol or not... A BAD agency will Market you. They will drop you into a pre-made mold so they are guaranteed to at least make back what they put into you (Which often isn't much) and they often-times will expect money from you for idol classes, costuming, etc. these are things provided for you or taken out from BOTH the agencies and your profit at a good agency. At a bad agency you are used up and spit out. If you don't make them money, they have no use for you... And on the skeevier side... A BAD Agency... will not hesitate to market you however they think they can make money of you... and if you're 14, and cant sing or dance well... you can damned well bet they will autotune the fuck out of your voice and parade you around with your tits and ass hanging out in every music video they produce. *Sigh* anyways... FUCK bad agencies... -+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+- Now, I'm not saying that ALL Idol corporations are bad... Although as an anticapitalist lemmie tell ya lol... the marketing of talented young folks can go bad... real bad.... real bad, real fucking fast... and there's a MASSIVE monetary incentive to ignore the safety and wishes on the talent (Usually children when they start out) so more often than not, there are just as many scum-fuck Agencies preying on ignorant, impressionable, vulnerable children. The japanese Idol industry alone brings in an average of 1 Billion dollars yearly. Note I said... The japanese... Idol industry... the Korean industry which is far more widespread on the international stage makes upwards of 3 billion a year and is constantly growing. asiafundmanagers.com/us/kpop-and-economic-impact-on-south-korea/ there's some real charmers out there... www.japansubculture.com/akb48-a-microcosm-of-dark-corporate-japan-child-labor-is-so-cute-book-review/ That agency is basically a Black company for idols... And the VERY young girls are often depicted in pools, wearing bikinis, Barefoot (With an OBVIOUS focus on the foot like you'd see in fetish videography... *GAG...*) etc... Like... I felt like I was gonna end up on a fucking FBI watch list just for googling the shit lol. Anyways, I don't even know why i ranted that hard about this shit lol... probably just due to the fact that 'Amuse' is such a comparatively good management company compared to trash out there. Much love!

Do you like K-Pop? 👀 haha They name is Dreamcatcher. Some BABYMETAL fans support them (me HAHAHAH). They make music with a Rock elements and other genres. :D If you give it a chance, "Scream" or "Deja Vu" are a good choice for start. Great reaction! :D
