I don't understand people who love East Kami hate West Kami. Both bands are equally talented, we shouldn't say no, however, each one plays in a different way. I prefer the way West plays but I would never hate one just because I like the other more.

They are killer. I can't speak for everyone, but the only bummer for me is that the band is less in the spotlight these days. Nothing to do with the absurd talent of the West Kamis.

Great reaction. You probably didn't get as many recommendations for 'Syncopation' because everybody was expecting others to recommend it so they recommended other songs .... here is my recommendation - basically if you see a BABYMETAL song you haven't heard yet do a reaction - pretty much every song is somebody's favourite. As in the comments below - the video for 'Yava' that BABYMETAL posted is missing the instrumental intro and you really don't want to miss that, so use the version that has been recommended.

🍑 ⚡ 💕 / 🎶 💕 The tour was the BABYMETAL WORLD TOUR 2023 - 2024. This footage is from LEGEND - MM. That was two concerts, performed at Yokohama Arena on March 2nd and 3rd, 2024. There were 17,000 people in the audience each night. I was one of them. : ) The first was on Momometal's (Momoko Okazaki's) last night as a 20 year old, and featured her taking over lead vocals on the song 'Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!'. The second was on her 21st birthday. She started the song 'META! Meta Tarô' on lead vocals. The most recent show with the Eastern Kami Band was 'BABYMETAL RETURNS - THE OTHER ONE -' on January 29th 2023.

This song is one of my favorite BABYMETAL songs. It's not an intense song that can be called metal, but as a Japanese person, I feel that it has the classic melody line of J-ROCK, which I've listened to a lot since I was young. I'm not familiar with music terminology, but when I looked it up, I found out that "syncopation" means adding an accent to the bottom of the lyrics rather than the beginning. I think this song is syncopated overall.

Great reaction, thanks! "Syncopation" is one of my favorite songs. Not only that, I still consider it their best song overall. I mean, once I put aside my personal preferences and biasses. And it's a "rare" song because it wasn't included in the international release of the Metal Resistance album (only in the domestic version, while the international release got "From Dusk Till Dawn"). It was "released" outside Japan with the live album Legend Metal Galaxy (Day 2), tho. 🤘🦊

Our queen and princesses are undecided if they are really in love, like a syncopated heart. Syncopation was the song exclusively for Japanese album while "From Dusk Till Dawn" was released for International version of Metal Resistance (of course that's my next recommendation), although later on they performed this song outside of Japan because is a blast with more rock sound rather than metal. Along with Karate, is one of those songs many fans got that anime vibes, for me Karate would be the opening and Syncopation the ending, although it works like an opening too. Till this day those were the only BM songs with that anime vibes for me, but after the new single Divine Attack - Shingeki came out now i got three songs lol You can also enjoy the live version at Tokyo Dome 2016 and one of the Five Fox Festival in 2017 when YuiMetal was still there being her last year and months with the group is kinda rare reaction nowadays since usually many reactions are with the avengers (2019) or with MomoMetal just like they did here at Legend MM in March celebrating her special 21 birthday. Also the East Kami Band playing unlike here with the West Kami Band. Not sure what is the confusing part since the title said very clear this special live show called Legend MM (honoring MomoMetal's birthday) was part of the World Tour 2023-2024. Awesome, this is definitely one of my favorites…. But I can say that about most Babymetal songs, lol. This is Kami West - hairy white boy arms and stockier build = American 😂. Skill wise, Kami East is definitely better”. But Kami West is no slouch. They are absolutely amazing as well, and have proven themselves touring with Babymetal since 2019. When you get to the song “YAVA!” From Legend MM, be sure to get the version from “For The fox God” channel. It will have a tasty Kami band intro missing from the “official live” edit on Babymetal’s channel. Legend MM was the 2nd to the last show wrapping up Babymetal’s 2023-2024 tour. It is a 2-day show that took place Mar 2nd and 3rd 2024, celebrating Momometal’s 21st birthday. 🤘🦊

Syncopation is a big fan favourite song. Personally I rate it as my number 2 song behind Yava! This was recorded at Legend MM on March 2nd and 3rd 2024 at Yokohama Arena. I was at Legend MM, so I was unbelievably hyped when this started because I had been waiting a long time to see it live and they absolutely delivered live! The purple sparkly guitar is played by Chris Kelly. It's Kiesel Crescent C7. It must be an oversight on our part that we forgot to recommend it. It was the Japan exclusive song from the Metal Resistance album, while the rest of the world got From Dusk Til Dawn (also worth a watch; check out the Budokan 2021 performance). Koba thought that Syncopation was "too Japanese" for the international audience for some reason, which is why it was the exclusive track.

But recently I decided to listen to two songs (Syncopation and Yava) and I absolutely loved them, man. But this one the made date was kinda in the title "BABYMETAL WORLD TOUR *2023 - 2024* LEGEND - MM. I agree with you about the Kami band here and in all the recent releases. They've never not been on point but all these performances they are going to a new level. The new release of BxMxC is getting wide praise as the best version. Su just goes so hard with her vocals. Yay your one of my favorite Babymetal reactors on youtube. Wish u did more. Can you do Ijime Dame Zettai at 2014 Sonosphere? It's arguably the most important live performance of their career. Also can you do more extra stuff like Moa's speech to Su at her graduation? Its amazing to hear what Moa says knowing they're still together today in Babymetal. Prepare to cry!

Great reaction J! yeah maybe syncopation is one of underrated BM songs, but glad that you liked it. In my opinion, Syncopation is one of a song that rarely performed live nowaday, especially abroad, along with Elevator Girl and Yava!, i dunno why. For next video, maybe you wanna check Su do some rap in B.M.C 😂 and try Yava! too, it is one of my favorite song.

This show was held at the beginning of March this year, in celebration of Momo's 21st birthday. This is the West Kami Band. When it comes to guitars and bass, I prefer East Kami, but when it comes to drums, I prefer West Kami.

One of my top favorite BABYMETAL songs overall and I personally prefer it over “From Dusk Till Dawn.” Even though the studio version of Syncopation is a Japan exclusive, the live version (LMG Day 2) is just 100x better.

I love Syncopation. Top 10 BM song for me personally. They never play it in the US unfortunately - I've heard that it's considered too "Japanese rock" for western audience so isn't included in the setlists. Nonsense, though! I think it'd go over great though, it's such a banger. As others have noted this is the West Kami, that is Chris Kelly with his purple guitar, he serves as the band leader for the West Kami.

Also 'PA PA YA,' 'RATATATA,' 'BMC' and for older songs, obviously 'Headbanger', but also 'Karate', ' Ijime,Dame,Zettai ', 'Onedari Daisakusen', and 'Road of Resistance'. There realy are just too much good songs to recommend!

I actually think it's an overrated song. So many people put it at number 1 and I think it's just because it's not on the international version of the album. With that said, I still think it's a great song. I just have a few others I'd put ahead of it. Kami East hasn't performed since January '23. This is from 2024. They cut the Kami band intro from YAVA! Legend MM 2024 upload on the official channel. The western Kami band are more skilled. All of them are either prog or technical death instrumentalists.

You can say West Kamis are exclusive band only since April 2023. The last East Kami appearance was in January 2023. Both bands were playing interchangeably since West Kamis introduction in 2019, with sole East Kamis playing all shows in 2021 Budokan anniversary concerts.
