The number ONE thing I have learned from your work on The Old Byrd Farm from day ONE is FORTITUDE. You always have a plan B. If you get discouraged temporarily, you always come back with determination. Let's face it, the challenging journey that The Old Byrd Farm has taken you on has been anything but easy. I admire you so much, Robert. The Energizer Bunny in so many ways. The floor looks excellent and no matter what, success! ❣️👍❣️👍❣️

Theres a well built Hallway floor, it will last another *140 years! ** btw in the recent catastrope in NC & Tennessee, Drone footage revealed that the structures that endured the weather best; (with very little overwhelming damage were the 100+ yr old structures. They rarely fell apart, withstanding the brunt of the storm(s) Its a known fact that when changes/ repairs are done to older structures, often Paranormal activity increases( often thru the Electrical systems for some reason).👻.

Hey to y'all, hey to Scott, hey to Kitty. I'm just so pleased the OBF is getting new floors!!!😁Besides my own house the OBF is one I have invested lots of hours on. I really like it, have from the first time I saw it. I sure hope I stick around and see most of it come to life again, if not all. Taking one day as it comes anymore, this is me 👵my hair is white around my face. I'll soon be a septuagenarian. Just know as long as I hold out and can still get internet I'll be watching. Never know when the lights will go out,do we. May God bless,be safe. ❤from snowy Ky.🌨🌨🌬❄☃

It will all come together one of these days and you will be so proud. I look forward to seeing your beautiful old farm house alive again. It would be great if you would include in your home improvement videos the floor plan and what section of the house you are working on. You have posted it before but it’s been quite a while. It is confusing for those of us that aren’t there to know what part of the house you are in. 😊

I had a partial knee replacement done 3 years ago. Nothing is good as the original but it's a pretty good second! The biggest thing is listen to your physical therapist and do what they say. Don't let it stiffen up like I did! Prayers for you Scott! You can do it! Thousands of us have.

It's those creepy dolls, Robert. See how close you were to them when everything went out? Seriously, you are making so much progress. With Scott's help, the floor is coming along nicely. It takes time, and there are always setbacks, but you never give up. I am enjoying seeing how things are made. I wish my grandpa was around to see this because he had trained as a carpenter with his uncle. That was in the 1920s. I think he'd be surprised how things have changed. I'm looking forward to the next video.

"Hey!" back to cat.😺 The floor is looking so good! It'll be holding strong for at least another 150 years.👍🏼 I've got to give you a lot of credit. You could easily edit out, or not film, these parts that don't go perfectly, but you don't. You let us see all that goes in to working on the OBF. The good and not so good. Normal stuff, really. I'm sorry you lost power, and I hope you've found out what caused it. How frustrating tho. It's not your fault. Something somewhere needs some fixing. It's not like a water hose where you get a kink in it and you need to twist the kink out and problem is solved. Wish it was that easy tho!🙁 A big thanks to Mr Scott for all of the help he gives you!🎉

We had one of those floor lamps in our disaster kit at the long-term-care facility, and we would use it for actual disaster drills, usually involving an earthquake scenario. Those bulbs would get so-o-o hot that we had to be ever vigilant not to get close to it during our scramble to care for our fictional victims (which might also include neighbors if their homes were damaged). If I'm not mistaken, if those bulbs were on for an extended time, there was an automatic shut off? Too many years have passed since I participated in those drills, so now don't remember. Check in to that Robert.

Everytime you talk about haunted things getting into the OBF house, I recall your the accidental death of your child ancestor. Of course, Pig Boy in the house and two scary doll heads in the wall, you must have some good security footage. From the miracle of getting the roof replaced to putting down the first new floor, those are big steps. It takes time to make big strides.
