These provided a great no payload ride improvement for my ‘24 F450. Nice improvement for small bumps: road seams, bridge aprons, poor roads. The 1" of shackle compression travel before heavy springs engaged smooth out little bumps for heavy suspension trucks… disappointingly it didn’t smooth out roads that have a poor up & down road section oscillation… maybe moved from a harsh bouncing to a dipping smoother bounce. Once loaded, shackles are compressed and load is on leaf springs.

I put these on my 12" Bullet Proof lifted F150 because it get it's rear lift from some 10" Atlas leaf springs which are stiff as hell. Made a world of difference in ride quality. Since then I've put them on all my trucks as soon as I get them. They help with the towing on my F250's as well, nice and smooth.

I run the carli shackles. They help reduce the bed bounce. Also removing the lower overload spring and replacing the factory block with a tremor block helped tremendously. Combine that with airbag assist and it's pretty perfect. Running these trucks at 80 psi empty makes the vehicle nearly un drivable as the back end skips all over the pavement on the rough roads. I run 45 psi in the back empty. Combine all of these changes and the truck is pretty good. Lastly adding the tremor front coil springs gives you exactly 1 inch of lift. From the factory these trucks have 1.5" ish of up travel without a special package . Having exactly 1 inch extra clearance enables you to drive down a normal bumpy road without constantly engaging the front bump stops.

What year truck do you have? I was thinking of installing tremor springs on my 05 superduty and add the cari hanger. Imo i think i hit the bumpstops at stock height over the potholes in tx. Ride is rough imo

I have eyeballed these for years. My concern has always been adding to the long term maintenance schedule. That rubber is tough but it still has a life limit. Of course your stock shackle does as well but muuuuch longer and not as detrimental. Guys hauling heavy seem to be split on effectiveness of these shackles. I image the 250/350 that occasionally tows a boat…this is probably great. For my 15 350 dually I called Carli. Went with the add a pack to maintain load capacity, Carli’s shocks and all other supporting suspension, rear bags….unloaded she rides pretty damn good. Last part of the success I believe is I’m running 17” stock rims with 315/70/17. 🫡

Looking at your video a couple of times, it looks to me like the upper bolt needs 3 or 4 washers. 2 washers only covers the gap between the inside of the new shackle to the outside of the old. Look around 8:10. Just my thoughts anyways. Love the videos though.

If only my neighbor had heard of these he could have saved himself from future headaches. My neighbor had a beautiful Super Duty. Just recently I noticed a brand new GMC pickup in his driveway. I asked him what happened to the Super Duty? He replied that he still had it but put it in his construction company fleet to replace a worn out truck. He said he bought the GMC because the ride felt smoother than a Super Duty. The Super Duty rode too stiff. He also mentioned better gas mileage with the GMC. Many years ago General Chuck Yeager was hawking AC Delco parts. He would end the commercial with "Don't wait for trouble!" I got a feeling my neighbor won't be waiting for trouble very long. He'll be getting it sooner than he thinks with his new GMC. 🤣🤣 To ease installation of the washer stack, use a little super glue to hold the washers together.

ARod, I have a 24’ F350 SRW 6.7HO Platnium Tremor. I tow a 18k 5th wheel every so often for family trips. The other day I put the AirLift LoadLifter 7500XL air bags on my truck. Would doing this help get me back to a more typical ride, in your opinion? If you were here in Texas I would bring it to you in a heartbeat but man you are far from me.
