The thing I don't like about my transit custom limited is the passenger airbag place. Should be a compartment like the base model.

I'm really glad that's the only thing you don't like though! Great van. Thanks for watching/commenting.

Foray Motor Group and that the engine is quiet. And missing the folding table from the mk7
@foray-motor-group8 жыл бұрын
Do you make use of the table that folds down from the middle seat? Some would say the quiet engine is a nice thing, no?
@GregsMowing8 жыл бұрын
Foray Motor Group it can be nice being quiet. However the mk6 sound good on tick over. The passenger table is nice but means you have to turn as opposed to reach for the 'table'. The old ones you can do work to these ones you need tiny hands to get anywhere. I have no plan on fixing them as they are cracking machines. Only minor things but the most comfortable van I have been in

Could you explain the coding on the customs for me ? ( L1 H1 and so on ) great review ! thanks.
@foray-motor-group7 жыл бұрын
Hi Barry - it's in reference to the wheel base and roof height. E.g. L1 = Short wheel base. H1 = Low Roof. The van is also available as a long wheel based, high roofed model (L2 H2). There are lots of variations, more so on the Transit Panel Van. Thank you.

Why have Ford gone to a timing belt for new eco blue engine iv seen so many engines trashed due to broken belts. Duro torque was chain driven in early transits and customs and reliable don't fix what isn't broke
@foray-motor-group7 жыл бұрын
Hi Royce - thanks for your message. Providing the timing belt is looked after as it should be - and replaced when necessary (usually 8-10 years), things run smoothly. There are numerous benefits of having a belt over a chain, and Ford clearly feel the pros outweigh the cons. Timing chains can also fail if an engine is not looked after properly - for example, it is not topped up with oil and runs dry. We believe that each and every model, takes another step in the right direction, with each new release. Many thanks for watching.
