Got the same grill and it cleans very easy with kitchen towel. Non stick surface, then just wipe over with damp cloth. Superb grill.

George Foreman makes medium size grill with removable plates, it's much easier to clean. Sometimes I use the one cal olive oil spray on the plates to ensure no sticking or even make a sleeve using parchment paper that way only need a quick wipe down after use.

I really like this grill and use it especially in the summer when it's too hot to cook indoors kzbin.infoUgkxCx5fHawkK9OoV-ojFrY8JLnZrFwAmvUt . I use this to slow roast a brisket and a pork butt using indirect heating and both came out fantastic! The tiny grease pot didn't cut it, though, but placing a foil roasting pan from the dollar store underneath the grill solved this issue. ;) Both took over 10 hrs to cook and one burner on low kept a steady temp around 225f the entire time. You'll need to know how to put things together and take your time assembling it. Over the next few days after I used it a couple times, I went back and tightened down screws and bolts that needed it after the metal expanded and contracted from normal heating. As for the value, I have used $400+ grills and this one performs just as well in my opinion. Plus, I have a side burner that the others didn't have which I've used for making sauces, rice, and even boiling potatoes. I burns about 1# of fuel with all burners on medium per hour for me so a 20# The tank will last me about a month of cooking several times a week. The cotter pins remove the burners a snap making it easy to clean underneath them so I don't have any flare-ups from collected gunk burning when I grill the next time. I'm going to try smoking with it this weekend so I'll post back and tell how that went.

I'm about to buy this tomorrow. I was concerned about the non removal plates. I had a previous grill that had removel plates and I liked that. I think this will be fine for what I need. Grilled fish, sandwiches, pastries etc. And it's onto 40 quid from Argos.
@BadFoodBlog Жыл бұрын
I had some good times with this but the non-removable plates were not the same not issue. I found fat was able to go under the drip lip and into the plastic seams of the device. I had to clear the underside and this lead me to eventually bin the device. I am not sure my phone experience is typical but I did bring it up in a following video. Is it worth £40 yes 100% I have a £120 version with removable plates but it just does the same thing.

@@BadFoodBlog thanks for the reply. Sorry you had to bin it. I'm literally on my way to Argos now. They have the large one for 51 quid. I think I'll get that and see how it goes. Thanks again for the vid and response.

Get the SMOKELESS! I got the regular one and it cooks great and everything tastes great BUT IT SMOKES and sets of every dam fire alarm in my apartment, all my neighbors call and ask if I've set something on fire. I love it but I'm giving it away and getting the smokeless one 😭😀🙃

Yes I am going to do a video on it the food juice surface tension allows it to hug the underneath and the top plate drips as well.
@billbillards5692 жыл бұрын
You don't need to flip them. The grill is hot on both sides.
@BadFoodBlog2 жыл бұрын
The top is much hotter and because the juices flow down there is uneven cooking!
