🤣😄 Thanks a lot, @metalbladepegasus7854! The exploding airbag idea is definitely a fun thought🤣 Regarding the gear shifter and handbrake placement, I did try setting them up on the left side once. It was quite a project - took me 3 hours to set up and another 3 to move everything back! So, while I love getting those details just right, spending 6 hours on it is a bit much for now. But who knows, maybe in the future I'll find a quicker way to switch things up for that authentic JDM feel😊

How did you get such a wide view without much barrel distortion. I just tried the wide angle lens of the osmo pocket 3, but it's too distorted 😢 How far are you away with the camera to wheel? I'm very short so I guess Im sitting too narrow on the setup

The GoPro Hero 12 offers a great wide mode with minimal distortion, which I've found perfect for my setup. As for the distance, the camera is approximately 50cm from the wheel. 😊 Hope this helps with your setup!

I tend to get motion sick quite quickly in VR, but I've never had that issue with my triple screens. So, for me, it's a much better option. However, I'm sure it varies from person to person.

I personally prefer the classic wheel for drifting, although the one in this video is also quite effective. As for the hubs, both the Clubsport and Podium are extremely well-built. The main differences I've noticed are the color 😝 and the ease of sliding the wheel on and off the base with the Podium hub. When I play WRC on the wrc wheel with csldd 8n/m i feel the wheel sometimes doesnt spring back to its original position and I have to readjust to center, and loose lots of time, can you share your game settings? I see you spining the wheel, mine just doesnt do that, almost like youre drifting, im so curious to use your settings.

@Wachito78 will do mate👍😊 I love the rally wheel, it feels really good! I actually use Fanalabs recommended settings for DiRT Rally 2.0 and default in-game settings with soft-lock on. WRC is made by the same people at Codemasters and the games are very similar, so those settings work really well 👍

what settings are you running, ive got a 3070, ryzen 5 5600x 32 gigs of ram and i cant play this map i instantly get the cpu warning but looking at all the usages it eating up my gpu not my cpu. even single screen instead of vr it wont let me out of pits

I'm running max settings with a 4090 and a 13900K, which definitely helps. But your setup with the 3070 and Ryzen 5 5600X should handle it too. Try waiting around 30 to 60 seconds before leaving the pits. Sometimes these maps just need a moment to fully load. Let me know if that works for you!

@@ProjectSimRacing yeah I got the fanatec gt dd wheel that's compatible with the ps5, everything pdeals, shifter and handbrake goes through the wheel base. Everything works fine in gt7 but handbrake does work at all in AC. I guess the search continues, thanks for the quick response

I dont see it so much watching the videoj, But when i drive this map the road feels really rough. Like every incline is bumpy. Almost like driving up stairs instead of a smooth surface. Feels like that on almost any inclined surface. Has anybody else noticed this?
