Technically most decks are nexus damage archetypes because that's how they win. Excluding fiora, maoki, soraka e.c.t.

The problem with Chief+Timelines is that Chief will get transformed when played, so you need to either 1. play him as a second follower, which means he comes down on turn 4 *at least* and starts working on turn 5; 2. pull him as a random 3-drop when transforming another unit, which isn't really reliable; 3. Play him and only then play Timelines, which means your Timelines only work on turns 4+, and if the first Chief is destroyed, all further Chiefs still face problem 1.

Not that big a deal if the timelines deck is made correctly it shouldn't rely on chief. He's just a nice little buff but not necessary and tbh playing a 3 cost second isn't that hard to negotiate.

I think gnar is going to be able to transform multiple times. Going between forms multiple times a game on some sort of transformation trigger, probably something like "When you've damaged an enemy nexus last round transform into mega gnar, round end transform into gnar

Personally, if I was designing Gnar, it would be a Quick Attack card with low stats and the effect '' if I strike X amount of time, transform me '' . When it transforms, it turns into an Overwhelm with high stats. So it goes from low stats Quick Attack (ranged form) to high stats Overwhelm (melee form).

Maybe two Yordle champs are little restricted. 1. Veigar with darkness shines with Senna. 2. Tristana as a single BC champion. I'm glad the "rewording" of plunder not being limited to an archetype like it happens with lurk or nightfall.

I'd love a gnar concept where first form he's a low health high attack quick attack with impact and levels from the damage he has dealt and taken. In level up he looses quick attack for overwhelm and gains a shit ton of health. That's be so fun

Edit: I will say, if leveling a champ counts as transforming, it makes chief pretty cool. Op: No lie as someone whose favorite part of the game is trying to think of new deck ideas, I'm not a fan of riots approach to card design when it comes to these pre made archetypes and decks. I would like more cards that can stand on their own or have multiple synergies kinda like ezreal or Elise or even Zoe as annoying as she is. It never feels like creativity is rewarded when the cards are designed to be most efficient only with their expansion, like with kennen and all the bandle support cards really. Darkness also is an extremely frustrating archetype for me, very annoying to play vs infinite value and free board clearing, and very boring to play because the decks have been made to be strong with each other and are completely figured out. Minimorph also really could use a nerf it's just unfun... Big units can be stunned or vengeanced it's not like before minimorph there was zero counterplay to buffing units. Sion was the reason they introduced the card and now he's nerfed pretty much into the background of the meta. I dunno if anyone else feels the same way?

Can't wait to see the how they will implement Ganr in LOR. As a Gnar main ( yes I know I am a disgrace for maining him ) I expect him to have at least some form of AoE stun like Intimidating Roar , because in LoL when he goes Mega all of his abilities are AoE, including his ult, which can stun the entire enemy team if the right conditions are met. So yeah .... waiting on the Yasuo x Gnar deck xd

IMO - Gnar is going to transform multiple times. From small form to big and then reverse it. And lvl up would base on his transformation count. That's my type but we will see tomorrow :D

The transform is the level up. The gimmick is he transforms back into mini Gnar, like in LoL. I might add that maybe he gets +1/+1 after transforming back from mega Gnar, otherwise the card I described might be a little under powered

With the support of new transforming cards, they should solve the interaction with Kaihiri the Returned(granting +2|+2 per time predicted, to Kahiri everywhere) and make concurrent timelines great again. The bug consists in that the everywhere buff counts like an "aura" and when you transform to another 6 unit, the buff disappears.

That's not a bug. A card like subpurrsible grants itself +4. Khahiri is granting Khahiris +2|+2, not itself.
