New Happy Place Yarn From

I ordered 10 balls of Toni’s yarn to do the Tunisian checked blanket pattern of hers and as you may know the colors come in both solid and heathered. I ordered one of each for the colors and for one of them they accidentally sent 2 heathers instead of a heather and a solid in that color like the rest of the order. I notified them and sent a photo and they promptly replied and sent me the ball of yarn that I was missing and told me to keep the one that they got wrong. I wish every business practiced in such an honest and caring manner. Kudos to them! I play their bingo every week and have ordered from them several times and it’s always been a good experience. I just love this community for people like yourself and Toni and wanted to share my experience with this order. The yarn is beautiful and I can’t wait to get to working with it ❤

I’m so excited you showed Toni’s Happy Place yarn giving her some support. You are always so genuinely kind. I’m not into too much wool but a family member bought all the colors that were available (some were sold out). She hasn’t used them yet. Your eyes were not doing anything strange, I didn’t see a difference between the sky blue. Maybe Hobbii sent the incorrect color. I’ve had them send me a totally different color yarn, but they corrected that after I sent them a message. No problem whatsoever.

Oh man, so wish I had some money. I have pound shop yarn lol them new yarns are stunning. In one of ur older vids, I've fallen in love/obsessed with the ice yarn that ur hubby said reminded him of the hulk. I had a look but the shipping cost more than the yarn. I'm in the US, in the PNW & I've ordered from Hobbii a few times in the past year or so, using the regular (non-express) shipping. My second order, placed last November took the longest because it went through Miami customs instead of NYC customs and then traveled from Miami to Seattle via USPS ground. My other orders have taken about 10-12 days to arrive. I do agree with Crystal that Hobbii is a little expensive, even their sale prices tend to be more expensive than other companies' yarns, but they have such beautiful yarns so I do occasionally order from them. Thanks for showing us the beautiful yarns, Crystal. Great video, as always and, personally, I enjoy both your yarn haul videos and your tutorial videos.

The Happy Place Sky Blue shades look the same to me too. I like Happy Place yarn, I have made one of Toni's cardigans with it and it has a fantastic drape - I made it in gray. I agree that Hobbii can be expensive unless you buy enough yarn at one time to get the lower prices - the last time I ordered from them I got enough to get free shipping. I live in Virginia and I got the full order in 10 days. Really, not bad from Denmark. Wonderful review, I really appreciated it - I like the Malaga very much too, I usually get the sparkle and it is very soft.

In the solids both the cotton and wool are dyed with the same color dye and they both take the dye a bit differently. In the melange the wool is dyed and the cotton is not. So if you have a solid where the cotton doesn’t take a lot of the dye the solid and melange are very close together. Toni explains this in her intro video.

I’m in the UK and have used Hobbii many times and have always been happy . Usually free postage takes 5/6 days although the last time only 4 days. Love the tracking-excellent. Also just to say when buying more of a particular yarn you can mix the colours to get the cheapest rate.

Oh! I just watched this. There is a very subtle difference in the blue. I only saw it once towards the end of the video so it could be the lighting. I don't know. Maybe check out in a different light?? But, I am with you. They are all very pretty. Good luck. 😁
