Hello and welcome to those who are seeing this for the first time. I'm Angela, Botnik Head of Labs and the person who made this story happen, even if GPT-2 did the writing. I wanted to add a comment or two in each part that possibly someone coming here from Botnik's social media posts might actually see, but probably not. If you're interested in how this was written by GPT-2, and what my editing consisted of, I have a large write-up on it in Part 7, with no real spoilers. For this first part, the main thing I wanted to mention for this first part was that Chapter 1 was almost entirely redone at one point, after the story was well along. The reason for that was that OpenAI, who made GPT-2, was releasing more powerful models every few months, and the first chapter was written by a. . . simpler model. Most of the dialogue between Harry and the Headmaster was basically the same, but everything surrounding it changed. The first version had Harry at the Weasleys, which never got brought up or used for anything, and he just kind of ran into the Headmaster outside I guess? It was really dull and had nothing going on other than their talking. I had a better version of the AI start over again later, inserted what the first one had written as appropriate, and this led to the current alcoholic Harry and the naked-robed Headmaster in the bathroom, which is a huge improvement in my mind. As an extra note, if anyone wonders about the Author's Note that shows up in the description of each part, below my credit, that was written by the AI to start one of the chapters, and I thought it sounded so oddly fanficish that I put it at the start of the story. It sounds like the AI is unhappy with what it wrote or something, which I enjoyed.
