Your doing a great job on your car it looks awesome , sorry that the long tube headers didn't work out. I have a 66 with an automatic transmission and no power steering, I think these headers would be fine for my car. Do you know what the Summit part number for these headers are and also do they hang down under the car very low? Thanks and keep up the great work and the videos, your car is turning out great.

Hey bud thank you so much, yeah they will fit perfect in your car, mi only problem was the clutch cable but in you case it's fine even if you decide to go with Power Steering in the future...SUM-G9131is the part number and yes they will hang down a little bit and also depending of your suspension and wheel, if your car is lowered that may cause a problem with speed bumps

Headers are terrible on street cars they take up engine room and produce a lot of heat under hood go stock manifold

Thanks for the advice, but the entire car isn't stock, so I'll keep with the headers, short ones by the way, because i changed these long ones for a fitment issue with the trans . In my opinion, if you do that with aluminum heads, it will look horrible, and basically, i will kill all that I did on the engine
