Pretty good young man. I have about 40+ years experience at home theater set up and component installation, but I must say, that as a novice, most of us really couldn't have done much better. You have a great sense of humor, and yet highly competent approach to your work. I like the fact that you introduced that there are various wire install options, no one size fits all concept and overall arrangement methodology. You should do very well in this industry, especially in all of the technical aspects. Any customer would be very blessed to have the likes of you at their disposal......

Ps, just thought that I'd check in on ya'. I'm quite certain that all is well and overall steady with you. I figured that by now, your customer base should be exploding by now, and if not quite yet, trust me, it will. Out of curiosity, what kind of system installation requests are you getting the highest volumes for? I personally am experiencing spikes in orders for Dolby Atmos systems ( to both my delight and pleasant surprise ).. Last,but not least, I will be trying to keep up with your videos, because any time a guy can have me otfl about his boss firing him when the TV falls, and whose boss and I sorta' share the same first name, get''s my vote any day of the week!!! Here's one for you, only your boss and I can have real " Dan to Dan conversations!!! " Get it? Anyway, many blessings in the field to you Kspaceguy...

It’s cool to see Klipsch bring these back, would be cool if they brought back the SL versions too. The SL versions were my 1st surround setup, they’re really solid speakers. Don’t let the size fool you, they are very full sounding speakers.

I'm ALL about the SOUND DEMO, and could care less about the unboxings - This is what I wanted to hear. It's everything I would have expected from Klipsch, crisp, clear, "live" sound on the spectrum, but not so much "rich", full and sound breadth. The SOUND DEMO helped more than you know, thank you

Wow. This is the best budget step by step video I have seen. I love how you used a cheap version of a receiver because now I have a reference on what to get in the near future. I’m not savvy with this so it really showed me perspective. Not like other videos where they show the product and the aftermath once everything is assembled. Thanks!

Would this system be any good for a larger room? We have a medium sized living room but also have 12 foot ceilings and the LR opens to the kitchen. This systems looks great but do you think it would work in a room as I described?

I would look at getting a very good bookshelf if you want to keep things minimal. Or.. if you were to use this system you'd need a very good sub so you cross the satellites very high

@@Kpaceguy Thank you. I’ve got the Sony ZF9 Atmos Sounbar with rear speakers right now and it’s subpar. Looking to upgrade to 5.1.4. Think I’ll go Klipsch and bookshelf speakers like you suggest. Klipsch makes a 12” wireless sub.

Hi @Kpaceguy, I’m about to get the Klipsch Reference Cinema System 5.1.4 with a Yamaha RX-V6A receiver and by the way I’m new to the home theater setup thing. My question is, I intend to mount all 4 speaker on the wall as my new home is prewired about 8ft from the ground, would this impair the sound quality?
@Kpaceguy
@Kpaceguy 2 жыл бұрын
Yes. You'll be forced to angle them down which will effect your dolby atmos speakers on the top. It'll all still sound good but could be better

I just bought this as my first surround sound set up and I need help with calibration. Lowest frequency response on the the satellites and center is 110 Hz so I set crossover to 120 Hz. And for the subs, it can do 120 Hz but idk if I should should lower it to maybe like 100 Hz. What would you do? Thanks

Just bought this on Amazon for $265. The sub sounds distorted and just not right. Wired or wireless doesn't matter. I think it's defective. Tested my receiver with my other sub (Harmon Kardon) to confirm that it's working properly. Any thoughts ?

@@Kpaceguy Crappy is about as accurate a description I can think of, lol, but I fixed it! Definitely defective new, so I contacted the dealer and got a $50 partial refund because I really like the speakers and didn't want to send them back (although I had plenty of time left). As an electrician of over three decades and a tinkerer even longer, I decided to open up the box and troubleshoot. First I completely disconnected the wireless board and LED cable as per the guy in the Amazon review (that was what worked for him). No dice for me though. So I removed the driver and was thinking of trying a different one. Pushing on the cone, I felt it slightly sticking, not moving smoothly. That's when I noticed (to my surprise) the permanent magnet was slightly separated from the metal housing. Poor quality control at the factory I'm guessing? So I took it completely off and examined the coil, measured the resistance (4 ohms), then reattached the magnet with super glue. Plugged in the RCA cable and listened to some incredible sounding bass in my jazz songs! After about an hour or so of relaxing music, I took it apart again and reattached the wireless board, tried that and everything is working as well as it should have from the factory. 😊. Thanks for your help and this video 👍🏾
